ELECTRICAL/MCC/CONTROL DRAWINGS
EDUCATION : ITI or diploma or equivalent is preferred.
EXPERIENCE : 5 + years of experience in building control panels,PLC from drawing
JOB DUTIES :
responsible for building/wiring control panels from panel diagrams & schematics
Experience assembling electrical control panels &/or cable harness assemblies
Build Automated Control Cabinet Enclosures.
Assist with and/or lead the testing of panels, working with engineering as required.
Mount & Wire Hardware and associated electrical/electronic
components in accordance with applicable code.

Preparing BOQ/BOM from the panel Drawings

Able to read & comprehend electrical wiring diagrams (schematic print).

Experience with AC/DC circuits & mechanical wiring aptitude a must.
Field wiring experience commissioning industrial equipment a plus
Any experience with VFD Drive or PLC Control a plus.
Assist test/service personnel with technical troubleshooting
Must be able to work overtime on an as-needed basis to maintain production
deadlines.
Work with engineering to coordinate design and resolve layout issues.

Cut-out enclosures to layout drawings

Lay out, mount and wire components to electrical schematics
Install conduit and complete wiring on capital equipment
Thorough review of unit assembly drawings and electrical schematics to develop a
strategy to identify placement of components and sensors.
Begin the process of mounting and installing components (light fixtures,VFDs,
sensors, etc.)
Physical review of equipment to define conduit/wire runs
Drill holes, install conduit, Terminate unit devices (sensors, lights, motors, VFDs,
compressors, Terminate and label all high voltage wires at control panel (VFDs,
motor starters, fuse box, contactors, overloads, etc.)
Terminate and label all low voltage wires at control panel (sensors, smoke detectors)
