Stirling (English)
The battle of Stirling was the first major victory for Wallace and a huge embarassement
for the English. The English force greatly outnumbered the Scots, but the narrow bridge
at Stirling made hindered the English deployment and the English commander made the
fatal mistake of taking the cavalry accross first. Wallace cut-off the Bridge before the
English infantry crossed leaving the cavalry stranded and unsupported.

Stirling (Scots)
Stirling was Wallaces greatest victory. The narrow bridge made the approach very
difficult for the English who took their cavalry across first. Wallace chose just the right
moment to attack when only half the English force was accross the bridge. The English
infantry including the archers could only watch helplessly from across the river.
