Obtain receptance, mobility and accelerance FRFs for the frequencies up to 100Hz for
undamped and damped systems separately and perform below for each FRF;
Plot [Modulus of FRF vs. Frequency (Hz)] and [Phase (deg) vs. Frequency(Hz)]
Plot [Modulus of FRF (dB) vs. Frequency (Hz) in log scale]
Plot [Real part of FRF vs. Imaginary part of FRF] for four different damping values of c, 10
c, 25 c and 50 c. Comment about the circularity of the Nyquist plots and the centre of the
circles.
Indicate mass and stiffness lines on each FRFs and verify the slopes for different selected
values.
By chancing the damping for several different values you select, plot damping line on each
FRFs.
For the same system, how will [Real part of FRF vs. Imaginary part of FRF] look like for
structural damping case for h=c N/m, h= 10 c N/m and h= 25 c N/m. Comment about the
circularity of the Nyquist plots and the centre of the circles.
