After my shift I went to Aling Bates sari-sari store to buy a
cigarette and I saw two men drinking. Then as I was
approaching.

Yes. Mr. Emilio Bonifacio and Mr. George Estregan

This Mr. Emilio Bonifacio, is he the husband of the private
complainant in this case?

Mr. Emilio Bonifacio and George Estregan, do you know
them personally before seeing them at the sari-sari store?

He instead focused his provocation on me.

He started insulting and threatening me, saying bad words

No. He got more angry and pulled out his bolo and started
pointing it towards me.

I calmly asked him to put it down and told him that I didn't
want to fight.
ATTY. SUAREZ:
Did he listen to your request?
TRIGGER HAPPY:
No.

What happened next, if any?
TRIGGER HAPPY:
I pulled out my gun and asked him to put down his bolo.
ATTY. SUAREZ:
Did you say you pulled out a gun?

TRIGGER HAPPY:
Yes.

He charged me with his bolo
ATTY. SUAREZ:

I shot his arm

ATTY. SUAREZ:
Why is he lying on the floor?

His arm?

I couldn't understand what he was saying but I saw blood on
his shirt

Did you intendly directed your gun on his arm?

Let me rephrase that your honor, why did you shoot his arm?

I called the police station to ask for assistance and called an
ambulance.

I had to do something to stop him from charging his bolo
towards me.
