After
earning
his
BA
from
the
Colorado
College
in
Philosophy,
Dr.
Geoff
Kent
went
on
to
pursue
a
Masters
Degree
in
Education
at
the
Leland
Stanford
Junior
University
School
of
Education
(SUSE).
Subsequently,
Geoff
spent
6
years
as
a
secondary
mathematics
teacher
in
under-resourced
urban
schools
in
the
San
Francisco
Bay
Area.
Driven
by
a
desire
to
build
on
these
experiences
by
engaging
in
social
theory,
he
recently
completed
doctoral
studies
at
the
University
of
Sussex.
Geoff
has
contributed
as
a
Research
Assistant
on
the
REALMS
project,
and
has
worked
in
Initial
Teacher
Education
at
IOE
on
the
Teach
First
Programme.
