Electroloid Therapy – Scientists, such as Serfontein, confirmed that the body needs

These scientists have shown astonishing results regarding mineral
deficiencies in the soil and drinking water and therefore in the foods
consumed in many countries. In his opening address when he was
knighted, Sir Jason Winters said: "Today we suffer from Potassium
starvation".
In the early years of this century Dr Forbes Ross proved that
Potassium was required daily because of its well-known antiseptic
properties. In those days, and for decades afterwards, it was almost
standard procedure to use Potassium citrate in distilled water.
Pharmacists will remember it by the name Mist pot cit. Even up to
the late 1960's Mist pot cit used to be an almost standard part of a
prescription for kidney and bladder problems. However, it could not
satisfactorily replace deficiencies in the body or correct blood levels
and seemed to have been mainly used "as a cleanser and to
stabilise the pH of the urine".
When discussing the ten to twelve major minerals, it will become clear
why I call this manual the application of Electroloids. Authors such
as Dr Lesley Fisher, explain what minerals do in the human body. I
have high respect for all Fishers work but note that the thinking at
that time seemed to have been centred around minerals in their
single form.
This approach works well, only up to a point. A Magnesium deficiency,
for example, could present itself in many different forms. It is
important to remember that Magnesium is needed as a catalyst to
control the perfect balance of Sodium, Potassium and Calcium in
the body and especially in the heart muscle.

Sodium Sulphate
Physiological Application
Sodium sulphate is found in the inter-cellular fluids, in other words in
the lymph fluids of the body including the vitreous fluid of the eye. It
seems to control the flow of all fluids out of the body, including bile.
Its opposition, once again, is Sodium chloride.
Pathological Application
When Sodium sulphate becomes deficient we can no longer get rid of
excess fluids (water) from the inter-cellular and interstitial spaces.
This is when oedema (water retention) sets in. The patient will
complain of bloatedness, puffy eyes, swollen feet, swollen knees, all
due to water retention. It is nature's own water pill.
When to use
Eyes: Yellow, burning, sticky eyelids occasionally light sensitive.
Ears: Meniere's Syndrome. Ringing or stitches through ears
becoming worse in damp weather.
Nose: Thick yellow discharge. Polyps.
Face: Yellowish jaundiced look.
Tongue: Green-brown coat. Bitter taste. Also red tongue.
Stomach: Biliousness. Liver is tender. Vomiting of bile with giddy
headaches. Jaundice (Hepatitis A & B). Tender pancreas.
Abdomen / Stool: Bloated. Thick swollen tummy. Colic, diarrhoea.
Loose stools, green.
Urinary Tract: Polyuria, biliuria, test positive for urobilinogen
and sometimes positive for bilirubin. Diabetes.
Respiratory: Asthma, worse in humid damp weather, nightly cough,
greenish mucus.
Nerves: Restless. Cannot sit still because they start developing aches
and pains due to lymphatic fluid thickening. They need to be on the
move.
Extremities: Water retention. Fingers, feet and tummy swell. Puffy
eyes. Aches and pains in the back, neck, limbs, worse in warm
stuffy rooms, sitting or lying still and getting out of bed in the
morning due to lymph thickening. Sodium sulphate patients always
feel better whilst moving and in warm weather. They also tend to
eventually almost hate salt. Obvious scurf rim around the iris.
Skin: Eczema, watery busters sometimes with a yellow watery
discharge. Forms yellow scales.
Dosage
Adults: 600mg up to 1 200mg per day in divided doses.
Children: Half adult dose.
Sodium sulphate patients hate damp, cold, clammy weather, they do
not feel well at the seaside, they dislike lying on the left side, but
they love dry warmth, changing their body position frequently and
movement. The word "stiffness" becomes a keyword and will almost
always crop up in the examination or case history or complaints.
