Title: Lambs To The Slaughter

Logline: After receiving a slew of video-recorded murders from an animal rights group, a meat-
processing corporation hires a female ex-marine to find the location of a human slaughterhouse,
deep within the jungles of Colombia.

Synopsis:

Somewhere in the jungles of Colombia exists a house of horrors. An animal rights group known
as the G.L.A. (Guerrillas for the Liberation of Animals) kidnaps and tortures employees of the
Columbus Meat Company, a U.S. meat-processing corporation expanding in Latin America.
The G.L.A terrorizes the victims by wearing TAXIDERMY ANIMAL HEADS while caging and
slaughtering them like FACTORY FARM ANIMALS. The G.L.A. sends videos of the ritualistic
violence to the C.M.C. with demands for them to end their Animal Holocaust.

LAURA DAVIS, an ex-marine turned bounty hunter (discharged for being gay) leads her team on
a hunt for a female criminal on the Texas/Louisiana border. She discovers a MS-13 gangbanger
raping a teenage girl, and takes justice into her own hands when she kills the man. Her fellow
bounty hunters are killed during the takedown, the D.E.A. storm the apartment and Laura learns
the rapist is a protected informant. Pissed and knowing the truth of what happened, the D.E.A.
books her for murder.

COLONOL WILSON, a friend of the C.M.C., visits Laura and offers her freedom from
incarceration as well as a way back into the military. The corporation wants Laura to go deep
cover and infiltrate the Animal Rights Movement to find a link to the G.L.A. If successful, the
C.M.C. will reinstate her back into the Marin Corps, the thing she wants most of all.

Laura travels to Colombia where she meets local animal rights activist SANDRA and is brought
into the fold of a different non-violent animal rights group. Meanwhile more C.M.C. employees are
killed and videos are made/sent to them. The C.M.C. suspect someone in Lauras group has a
connection to the G.L.A. and its up to Laura to find out whom.

After a botched raid on a C.M.C. plant where innocent people are killed, Lauras group becomes
divided and disbands. Sandra reveals that she may know the whereabouts of the G.L.A. and
Laura coerces her to seek out the extremist group with her. Vulnerable and confused about her
place in the animal rights movement, Sandra succumbs to Lauras manipulation and they travel
through the Amazon in search of the G.L.A.

Laura and Sandras relationship culminates one night while camping in the jungle. Laura reveals
that she was kicked out of the Marines because the cadet she was involved with committed
suicide after she tried to break it off. Later that evening Laura and Sandra make love, causing
Laura to feel conflicted about lying to Sandra. Not wanting to put any more people she cares
about in harms way, Laura decides to leave Sandra behind and continue on her own.

Laura breaks into the G.L.A. compound and discovers worse horrors than she could have ever
imagined. The biggest shock comes as she tries to escape, for nothing is at all what it seems,
and she falls victim for a trap, like a lamb to the slaughter.
