You are correct, my apologies; however, I disagree with Graham on that and I think the last 20
years bring fresh light to the efficient market theory. In addition, I would go no further than
looking at Berkshire's record and what warren wrote in the superinvestors of Grahams and
Doddville article. In addition, if you fundamentally think about all the different schools of
investing thought there are, it would be rational to expect the miss-pricing of securities,
especially with advocates of MPT.

Calculating intrinsic value should be the last evaluation of business and the deciding factor, but
necessarily the most important factor.

market school of thought now generally accepted by the professors"
In context he isn't really agreeing with EMT, rather accepting that his extreme value approach is
no longer applicable. IMO, no investor worth their salt would even acknowledge EMT.

Shortly before his death in 1976, he was interviewed by Charles Ellis and said: I am no longer an
advocate of elaborate techniques of security analysis in order to find superior value
opportunities. This was a rewarding activity, say, 40 years ago ... but the situation has changed....
[Today] I doubt whether such extensive efforts will generate sufficiently superior selections to
justify their cost.... Im on the side of the efficient market school of thought.
