Mormons: (Adjective): It is a term that describes the cultural, religious and ideological aspects of
various denominations of the Latter Day Saint movement
Example1: The Mormons - A curiously American phenomenon.
Example2: Mormons go to their own church and must be respected
Major role: (Adjective). Having the first place in estimating or importance.
Example1: Churches tend to play a major role in American life
Example2: English has an important role in our lives.

Perhaps: (Adverb). It indicates the possibility of something happening


Example1: While religion plays a relatively small part in people's lives in modern day Europe, it is still
a major force in the USA - and perhaps no more so than in Utah, in the mountains of America's far
west.
Example2: I'll go to the party this Saturday, may be the weather this very good

High-rise: (Adjective plural). Which are very tall and have many levels or floors.
Example1: Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah, is a remarkable city, one whose center is not a high-rise
business quarter, but a temple.
Example2: This site hasn't a high-rise to place a mall

Weird: (Adjective). That is very different than usual, natural or normal and has some extraordinary
or inexplicable that excites curiosity, surprise or admiration.
Example1: There are plenty of weird and wonderful religious groups in the USA
Example2: The abandoned houses have something strange inside that causes fear.

Freedom: (noun). Faculty and right of people to choose responsibly his own actions in a society.
Example1: The quest for religious freedom was, after all, one of the reasons that caused the first
pilgrims and colonists to leave Europe in search of a new life beyond the Atlantic.
Example2: I have the freedom to choose the right way to live.

Wealth: (noun). All the things you have, especially money, property or valuable things.
Example1: The Mormons are one of the more surprising of these. This church, with its peculiar

enormous wealth.

Riot: (noun). Riot or unrest with a more or less large group of people want to show their
opposition to authority, using the protest, disobedience or violence.
Example1: His decision, in 1844, to run for the US Presidency provoked a surge of anger against
the Mormons, as well as criticism from his own followers; and after a riot in the Mormon city of
Nauvoo
