Web Services Navigator


Access web services navigator via URL detailed below
For AP6 http://rs260a.npower.com:8004/wsnavigator
For AD6 http://rs246a.ud1.utility:8000/wsnavigator
The format is http://<server>:<port>/wsnavigator
Ensure DeployProxy is present and populated

Profile Parameter Changes


Profile parameter need changing as detailed below
Default
icm/server_port_0

$,TIMEOUT=240,PROCTIMEOUT=3600

PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$

NOTE: This requires a reboot to activate the changes so must be planned for

Create User
Log into 000 client of the system being configured and run SU01

Enter user name CTS_ADM and click create (paper icon)

Go to Logon data tab


Ensure the user is a Service User and set password as Solm@456

On the roles tab, enter SAP_CTS_PLUS, SAP_J2EE_ADMIN and SAP_S_RFCACL

Save the user

RFC Connections
Still in 000 client, run T-Code SM59

Expand HTTP Connections to External Server area and look for an RFC called
CTSDEPLOY
If the destination exists then edit as detailed below
If it doesnt exist then create as follows

Destination CTSDEPLOY, Connection Type G

Technical settings tab, enter URL and port number of system being configured

Logon & Security tab

Basic authentication with user CTS_ADM and password Solm@456 as configured earlier

Save at this point then run a Connection Test

Test result should come back OK. If not, you need to correct any errors

Configure Logical Port


Run T-Code LPCONFIG. The transaction will generate a warning that it is obsolete. Ignore
this

Enter Proxy Class CO_TFLDEPLOY_PROXY_VI_DOCUMENT


CTSDEPLOY then tick the Default Port option

and

Logical

Once these fields are filled in, choose Create

On following screen enter a Description for the port then go to Call Parameters tab

Port

HTTP Destination needs to be CTSDEPLOY with Path Suffix /DeployProxy/default?

Under Global Settings both Message ID and State Management should be ticked

Save and check the changes

NOTE: Depending on system configuration, you may be prompted to create a transport


when saving

Check should return no errors but give a status update at the bottom of the screen

Now there is an additional option to Activate the service. Simply click once

Again this will result in a status update along the bottom of the screen

Activate the Web Service


Run T-Code SICF

Hierarchy type SERVICE and Service Name CTS_BROSWER

Execute

Right Click CTS_BROWSER and Activate Service

Click Yes

Right click again and Test Service

This should open Transport Organiser in a new browser window. If it doesnt, there is an
error in the configuration

Additional Checks
Still in SICF, go back to search screen and remove the Service Name then Execute

Drill down through sap public.. ping then right click and Test Service

This will again open a browser window with confirmation that the service works

Drill down through sap bc gui sap.. .its webgui then right click and Test Service
again

This should open a new browser window and log you directly into system being configured

STMS Configuration
Run T-Code STMS

Go to System Overview

Double click the system being configured

Transport Tool tab in Change mode

Click on any line then Insert Row

The following parameters need to be added, if they dont already exist


DEPLOY_DATA_SHARE

/usr/sap/trans/data

DEPLOY_WEB_SERVICE

CTSDEPLOY

DEPLOY_XI_URL

System URL including port (see screen shot, below)

WBO_GET_REQ_STRATEGY

SMART

Save changes

Accept yes on the configuration box that pops up
