This Torah Portion concludes the Book of Genesis as well as the story of
Joseph and next week we will be starting in the Book of Exodus.

Jacob Blessed Josephs Sons

Gen 48:17-20 Now when Joseph saw that
his father laid his right hand on the head of
Ephraim, it displeased him; so he took hold of
his fathers hand to remove it from Ephraims
head to Manassehs head. 18 And Joseph said
to his father, Not so, my father, for this one
is the firstborn; put your right hand on his
head. 19 But his father refused and said, I
know, my son, I know. He also shall become a
people, and he also shall be great; but truly
his younger brother shall be greater than he,
and his descendants shall become a multitude
of nations. 20 So he blessed them that day,
saying, By you Israel will bless, saying, May God make you as Ephraim
and as Manasseh! And thus he set Ephraim before Manasseh.
Jacob said that Ephraim and Manasseh were like his own two sons Reuben and
Simeon, his first and second born. Not only that but Joseph was seen as
Jacobs firstborn from his beloved wife, Rachael. With this, we see that Jacob
treated Josephs sons as if they were his own two firstborn sons. Then we see
something more out of the ordinary; Jacob chose Ephraim over Manasseh as
the Firstborn performing the blessing if the firstborn with his right hand on
Ephraim. Not only was Joseph favoured over his brothers in the eyes of Jacob,
but Joseph's sons were also treated as Jacobs own sons and became two
important tribes of their own, replacing Joseph as a tribe. Ephraim received a
greater blessing hence a greater responsibility and role to play in the Plan of
YHVH.
1

We see that Ephraim plays and important role in the end time prophecies where
Yshua came to restore back the lost scattered house of Israel, calling them the
tribe Ephraim. The northern ten tribes are referred to in Scripture as either Israel
or Ephraim, and the southern kingdom is known as Judah.
Eze 37:16-19 And you, son of man, take for yourself one
stick and write on it, For Judah and for the sons of
Israel, his companions; then take another stick and
write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all
the house of Israel, his companions. Then join them for
yourself one to another into one stick, that they may become
one in your hand. And when the sons of your people speak to
you saying, Will you not declare to us what you mean by
these? say to them, Thus says YHVH Elohim, Behold, I will
take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and
the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will put them with it,
with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will
be one in My hand.
People around the world today return back to the Hebraic roots of their faith
making them part of fulfilling this prophecy. Through this process, a lot of
gentiles come into the faith, and they are grafted in with the scattered
Israelites. It was as if YHVH are using these scattered tribes as a net, and as
he pulls them back in, a lot of nations enter the Kingdom. That is why Yshua
called His Disciples fishers of men as we have seen in last weeks Torah
Portion.
You might be part of the original Israel; you might even be part of Judah or Levi,
known as the Jews today. But the most of the people will be from the gentiles,
coming out of the nations with scattered Ephraim. YHVH will then reunite these
Two Houses, Joseph (Ephraim, Israel) and Judah together in the hand of
Messiah.

Jacob Blesses His 12 Sons

Jacob blessed and spoke prophetic words
over his 12 sons that later became the 12
Tribes of Israel. These blessings are
prophetic utterances that will form and shape
the history of each one of these Tribes.
We are going to look at each of these
blessings and see what wisdom we can
glean from each of these blessings on a
prophetic, spiritual and personal level.

1. Reuben
Ruben is the firstborn of the sons of Jacob and His name
means behold a son.
Gen 49:3
Positive: First born, given strength, dignity and
power.
Negative: Unstable as water defiled his Fathers bed and blew it all as a
result of sexual weakness. How many men of God fell like Ruben?
Lesson from Ruben:
Strength is the word on

OE@

that means the ability to attain wealth through

effort. The letter Aleph is represented by an ox and is a symbol of strength. It

also represents YHVH, both adding up to the number 26. This means that the
strength or ability to attain wealth comes from the Father and not from yourself.
Yshua received His strength from His Father.

Z@Y

Dignity is the word se-eth

that means exaltation in rank and
character. The word se-eth ends with the Aleph-Tav that represents
Messiah. It starts with the letter Shin that means fire and represents the
Spirit of YHVH. Your exaltation in rank and character is dependent upon
receiving the Messiah and well as the Appointment or Anointing of His Spirit.
Your character will be changed through engaging with Messiah and YHVHs
Spirit, and He will appoint you, giving you a rank through the gifts of His Spirit.
Your dignity, worthiness and honour are not from yourself but come from Yshua
and His Spirit. Yshua had received the Spirit of YHVH before He started His
ministry.
Power is the word az

FR (Aying Zayin) that means strong, harsh, fierce,

mighty and power. Ayin means eye that is on the right-hand side depicting
spiritual sight and zayin means sword that symbolises the Word of YHVH.
When Yshua was tempted in the Wilderness by Satan, He defeated Satan by
quoting the Word of YHVH. The Word can sound harsh at times especially when
it is used to judge a situation, but it surely is powerful and fierce dealing with
every attack of the enemy. To overcome Satan or the enemy is not from
yourself, but only through the Word of YHVH. Yshua is the Word of YHVH, and
He did everything He saw the Father was doing.
Unstable as water: Water needs to be in a container to make it stable, and the
structure given to a vine makes it bear fruit. We need the Torah of YHVH to help
us overcome our own fleshly instabilities and contain the animal within. Our
stability does not come from ourselves but comes from YHVHs
Commandments.
Different denominations have a different view of Who the Messiah is and what
He is like. The Messiah without Torah or Structure have Strength, Dignity and
Power but is unstable as water. The People who know the Messiah with Torah
see Him as one with Strength, Dignity, power and Stability. It is YHVHs plan to
reveal the real Messiah to His people.

2 & 3. Simeon & Levi

Simeon is the second born of Jacob. Simeon means hearing.
Simeon was mentioned with Levi in Gen 49. Levi and Simeon did
not receive an inheritance; Simeon lived with the strongest tribe
Judah, known as the Jews today.
Levi is the 3rd born of Jacob. Levi means, interweaved and they
connect the vertical threads (connection with YHVH) and the
horizontal threads (connection with people) and facilitate that
connection with YHVH creating a beautiful tapestry. Levi did not
receive an inheritance and became the Priesthood and lived
among the tribes.
Gen 49:5-6

Positive: None
Negative: Levi and Simeon were instruments of cruelty by revenging
their sisters defilement through not controlling their anger they killed.
They are self-willed and break down walls. Their characters were filled
with anger and self-will.

Lessons from Simeon and Levi:

Anger is the word af S@ that means nostril, countenance
and face. When we recite the Aaronic blessing we say lift
up His countenance upon you - this actually means that
YHVH should not be angry with us anymore.
Q - Why is YHVH angry or what makes Him angry?
Sin makes YHVH angry because it is a defilement of His
Creation and not part of His initial plan. The nostril is related
to the sacrifices where YHVH rests from His anger when He
smells the sweet smell of the sacrifices.
Forgiveness: YHVH created the sacrificial system to neutralise the effects of sin
and eliminate anger. The core and essence of the sacrificial system is
forgiveness. Forgive is the Hebrew word ansah and means to bear, to burn, to
carry away. The animal that died carried the punishment or burden for the
wrong that was done and the fire of the sacrifice burned the body so that the
smoke can rise towards heaven, appeasing YHVH.
Lesson from Levi: Jacob only uttered negative words over Levi but later on
Moses gave them a positive report showing that they have repented from their
self-will and anger, following and obey the Will of YHVH. They were the tribe
responsible for facilitating the Temple service that included the sacrificial
system. People tend to think that the Sacrificial system is done away with but it
made possible for Yshuas offering to be presented before the Father to set us
free, forgiving us from our sin and the death penalty that was hanging over us.

4. Judah

DCEDI means, let

Him be praised and contains the name YHVH DEDI with
Judah is the 4th born of Jacob. Judah

a Dalet C inserted. We saw from the previous Torah

Portions that when you insert a letter into a name it implies
that the persons character or destiny changes. In this case, YHVHs Name
changed, and His destiny changed as well by sending His Son through the Tribe
of Judah as depicted by the dalet that means door, showing that Yshua is the
Way or Door that leads to the Father (YHVH).
G 49:8
Positive: Judah will be praised by his brothers and his hand will be on
enemies neck and kill them. He is like a Lion and his Father and brothers
will bow before Him and Nations will bring him tribute. He will hold the
Royal sceptre between his feet and is is the lawgiver that protects the
Torah until the gathering of the people comes at the end.

Negative: None

Lesson from Judah: Judah is better known as the Jews today, they are
appointed and anointed by YHVH to guard and protect the Torah until He comes
again to gather His people. Judah or the Jews will always triumph over their
enemies and will rule nations. Yshua is from the Tribe of Judah and many of the
things prophesied over Judah came true through Messiah. He is from Royal
descent and will rule with the Torah as King over all nations and they will bring
tribute to him. His brothers (11 tribes) will bow before Him.
He will bound his foal (young ass) to the vine and washed his garments in wine
and his clothes in the blood of grapes. Can you see the connection to Messiah
Yshua? His eyes will be red wine (suffered and died shed His Blood) and his
teeth will be white as milk brings righteousness and Holiness to those who
speak His Word).

5. Dan
Dan was the 5th son of Jacob. Dan means Judge.
Gen 49:16

Positive: He shall judge/avenge his people, as one of

the tribes of Israel. He will be a serpent by the way,
an adder in the path that bites the horses heels so
that his rider shall fall backwards.
Negative: None

Lessons from Dan: Dan is known as one of the three lions and he increased in
number and had to move to the North of the Jordan and settled both at the
North and the West of the Land and acts as one of the protectors of Israel. Dan
is also called a serpent that makes the riders fall backwards.

Dan is has the symbol of a serpent because he was one of the first tribes to
introduce Idolatry into Israel.
Hebrew Study Tip
Two words or thoughts can be connected if they share the same
numerical value. Every Hebrew letter represents a numerical value and
adding up these numbers of each word connects to other words with the
same numerical number.
Serpent is the word nachash and has the numerical value of 385 (50 + 8 +
300 ) that is the same as the numerical number of mashiach = 358 (40 +
300 + 10 + 8 ). The Messiah became sin (serpent) and died on the stake,
just like the serpent that was lifted in the wilderness and those who looked
upon the snake on the pole, lived. This gives the serpent a positive meaning
that points to the Messiah.
Dan gives us more insight regarding the Messiah; He is not only the
Saviour, the Way and Door to the Father, but He also the Judge.
He is the one who cause the riders to fall backwards. Everywhere in Scripture it
shows YHVHs enemies to fall backwards as a sign of their defeat and this is
what Messiah, the Judge will do. He will come as the Warrior and Judge and will
come to judge and destroy His enemies.

Q What have we learned so far?

We have seen from Ruben that we will behold the Son placing a heading on
Who will be revealed through these prophetic words. Then we saw with Simeon
and Levi that the Fathers anger was kindled by mans self-will that leads to
sin. The Sacrificial System was introduced that facilitate Forgiveness that
caused YHVH to rest from His anger. Then we saw a Door or Way that will be
opened through Judah that leads to the Father. Dan gave us insight into the
Sacrifice, Who is the Messiah that would be judged in mans place so that
forgiveness can turn the anger and judgement away from man. Yshua will then
become the Judge who will destroy His enemies.

6. Naphtali
The 6th son born to Jacob, second son of Jacob and Bilhah and
younger full brother of Dan. Naphtali means my wrestling.
Gen 49:21

Positive: Naphtali is a hind (deer) let loose: he gives

goodly words.
Negative: None

Lessons from Naphtali: Naphtali is a hind let loose: he gives goodly words.
Goodly is the word shepher and Words is the word emer and both are found
the first time in this Torah portion in this verse; Gen 49:21.
Hind is the word ayalah and is related to the word alah that means, to
ascend as discussed in last weeks Torah Portion.
6

Hind is found in Ps 18:33 ; made my feet like the feet of a deer as well as in
Isa 52:6-7; how beautiful are the feet of him hat brings the Good
News (Gospel Goodly words).
Shepher is only used once in the whole Scripture that makes it
very unique. There is only ONE Goodly word or Gospel
message that means that there is only ONE Way or message
of salvation. John the Baptist and Yshua started there
opening words bringing the Good news with Repent, for
the Kingdom of YHVH is at hand The Goodly words are kind
words that turn you back to the Father and the first step is
repentance. This message of Good news or goodly words are there
to help those to find the Door so that they can return and ascend to the Father.

7. Gad
Gad was the 7th son of Jacob, the first-born of Zilpah. Gad
means troop and invader and good fortune.
Gen 49:19

Positive: A Troop will overcome him but he will

overcome at last.
Negative: None

CB is a troop gadid that is associated

with war is spelt (Gimel-Dalet-Vav-Dalet) CECB and contains the name of one
of the greatest warrior leaders namely David CEC. David means Beloved and
Lessons from Gad: Gad (Gimel-Dalet)

is a prophetic picture of Messiah.

Troop is found in 1 Sam 30:8 where David asked YHVH whether he should
pursue this troop (enemy) after the city was burnt and their sons, daughters
and wives were taken captive. YHVH told him to do so and recover all that was
taken.
This matches with the blessing spoken over Gad
where a troop will overcome but he (David, the
Beloved) will overcome at last. We find a prophetic
meaning in this; Yshua is the Beloved as depicted
by David and He will come to take back that which
was stolen by the troop or enemy. This is
confirmed in 1 Sam 30:10 where David and 400
men (1 Aleph, 400 Tav ) went to take on the
enemy.
After hearing the Goodly Words that led to Repentance as seen with Naphtali,
we see that Gad represents an army that is raised up against the Enemy with
their Commander none other than David, the Beloved Messiah.

8. Asher
The 8th son born to Jacob, the son of Zilpah.
Gen 49:20

Positive: His bread shall be fat, and he shall yield

royal delicacies.
Negative: None

Lessons from Asher:

Asher mans happy and delicacies also means delight and cheerful, rhyming
with his name. We find this word ma-adan in 1 Sam 15:32 where Agag, king of
the Amalekites was delighted because he thought that the bitterness of death
has passed him by. This shows us that king Agag represents believers in
Messiah who experienced salvation through the blood of the Lamb being very
grateful that they are saved.
The Amalekites always depict the flesh and we will discuss this in detail in an
upcoming Parashah. Asher shall yield royal delicacies, the word royal is the
Hebrew word melech that means king and supports the story of king Agag in 1
Sam 15. Ashers bread shall be fat (greasy, oily and lusty). This supports the
idea of the flesh as seen in the meaning of the Amalekites.
King Agag is found in the story where Saul rejected the word of YHVH and
spared Agag as well as the best of his livestock. As a result of that, Samuel
came and told king Saul that he lost his kingship over Israel because of his
rebellion against YHVHs Word that is seen as witchcraft in the eyes of YHVH.
We see the following thoughts connecting between Ashers blessing and the
story in 1 Sam 15:

Asher (happy) Agag was delighted because he thought he was saved.

Amalek (flesh) fat (lusty)
Royal - King Agag, king Saul
Fat bread Word of YHVH (rejected), rebellion, witchcraft
Looking at this paints another picture that is not as positive as the
blessing over Asher may sound. The one thing that stands out is the
fat bread that represents words of man, in this case king Sauls
words that replaced the Word of YHVH (bread of life). Rejecting of
replacing the Word of YHVH with mans words is seen as
rebellion and witchcraft. Fat bread can also be described at the
hand of normal bread with leaven in it. Leaven or yeast is a sign
of sin that is why unleavened bread is used at Passover
removing sin.

We see royalty, people with authority ruling over the people of

YHVH. Asher yielded royal delicacies, which links with king Agag
and king Saul. King Saul is a picture of leaders appointed over
YHVHs people. King Agag is a picture of Believers who are saved but still eat
fat bread, rejecting the Word of YHVH.
King Agag is the king of the flesh that is your Nefesh or fleshly soul that needs
to die as ordered by the Word of YHVH that washes you clean on a daily basis.
8

The defiled Word of YHVH or Fat bread is served to YHVHs people by

rebellious leaders. They are seen as rebellious and facilitators of witchcraft in
the eyes of YHVH. This causes the people of YHVH to spare king Agag or
their Nefesh (fleshly souls) and in effect leave them fleshly instead of Holy
before YHVH.
Sad to say that this is what is happening in a lot of Congregations today ranging
from Christianity right through to Judaism. The leaders do not teach YHVHs
Word, which is the bread of life, but rather feed them fat bread that feeds the
flesh (feelings) instead of the the spirit.
The term Bread of Life is typically seen as Yshua Who is the Saviour but it is
actually the Word or Torah (Commandment or YHVH) as seen in the story in 1
Sam 15 where Saul rejected the Word of YHVH, not the Messiah. Yshua is the
Word but He is also the Lamb that was slain. People seem to on;y receive the
Messiah as the Lamb, the Saviour and not the Bread or the Word of YHVH
(Torah).
Another interesting thing about king Agag is seen in his name

BB@ spelt Aleph

Gimel Gimel. Aleph symbolises YHVH, Gimel represents a Camel that can
also represent YHVHs Spirit We see one Gimel connected to the Aleph
(YHVH) on the Right (Spiritual Gimel). We see another Gimel on the Left that
represents the physical (Fleshly Gimel).
Q - If the Gimel connected to YHVH is His Spirit, Who is the
second Gimel?
Is that another spirit within the midst of YHVHs people that cause
them to go astray doing witchcraft following man made words
instead of YHVHs Word or His Spirit? Yshua warns us that there
will be false Messiahs coming. This can imply false anointed
ones or leaders with a false anointing, from another spirit.
Personal Application: What we learn from this is actually a warning to
Leaders of Congregations; if they do not teach YHVHs Word (flat bread)
but rather feed the people fat bread, they will lose their authority as
leaders and YHVH will appoint people better than them, people like king
David who was zealous regarding the Word of YHVH. People in the
Congregation should not feed on fat-bread they feed on as served in their
congregation and challenge their leaders. They should also be careful of
the Internet Teachers that does not teach the Word of YHVH or Holiness,
teachings that tickles the ears, listening to things that you want to hear
instead of things YHVH wants you to hear so that your garment can be
cleaned and stay clean. This is a warning and you have a responsibility to
stay away from fat-bread teachings for your own benefit.
Yshuas army is infiltrated by and enemy that is hard to see, the enemy from
within. Only true leaders that have a foundation of the Word of YHVH will be
able to lead the people into battle against the flesh.
The Leaders and false teachers that tickle the ears will keep people focussed on
the Lamb of YHVH instead of the Word of YHVH making them fleshy and fat,
not fit to serve in the Army of YHVH.

9. Issachar
Issachar was the 9th son of Jacob Issachar means "there is a
reward" ("yesh sakar") or, "a man of hire" ("ish sakar").
Gen 49:14
Positive: He is a strong ass couching down between two
burdens.
Negative: None
Lessons from Issachar:
His is a strong ass crouching down between two
burdens. The Ass is a symbol for both wealth
and salvation.
Wealth found in Gen 24:35 where YHVH
blessed Abraham and he became great.
Salvation found in Gen 22:3 where Abraham
and Isaac saddled an ass to go up to sacrifice.
The ass is a symbol of carrying the message of
Messiah - just like Messiah rode into the City,
they carry the message of Salvation into cities all over the world.
Issachar represents both the physical and spiritual side; Physical, with gathering
wealth for the Kingdom especially in the mission field and Spiritual; praying and
reaching out into the nations who are lost so that they can be saved. Issachar
does mission work to fulfil the prophecy given to Abraham that his descendants
will be like the sand of the sea and that YHVH is our exceedingly Great Reward.

10. Zebulon
Zebulon was the 10th son of Jacob Zebulon means iniquity
that dwells.
Gen 49:13

Positive: He will dwell by the haven of the sea and

shall be a haven for ships and his borders shall go out
to Zidon.
Negative: None

Lessons from Zebulon:

Sea is the word yom that means, to roar, west and it can mean nations as
well. The word yom is found in the creation story where YHVH separated the
dry land from the waters that formed the sea. He then made the fish to populate
the sea and later gave man dominion over the fish in the sea, man that is made
in His Image and Likeness.
Haven is the Hebrew word choph that means seashore that comes from a root
word that means, to cover.
Border is the Hebrew word yerechah that means side and is also used in
explaining the building of the Tabernacle, the covering that contained the
presence of YHVH.
10

Zidon is also translated as Sidon that means hunting that comes from the root
word tsud that means catching fish or to hunt. This word tsud is first used
where Isaac asked Esau to go into the field, hunt and prepare meat so that he
can bless him before he die.
Spiritual Insight: The Sea is a symbol of the nations and Zebulon is appointed
to go into the nations. He has dominion over the nations because he is in
YHVHs Image and Likeness meaning that he is in the world but not of the
world. We have discussed previously that the creation of man into YHVHs
Likeness can only happen if you have received the Spirit of YHVH. His Anointing
enables and empowers you for a particular task within His Will and Plan. This
gave Zebulon dominion over the fish of the sea.
Haven means seashore and to cover and is found twice in this passage. Firstly
man needs to be covered before they can come into the presence of YHVH and
it is Zebulons task to bring the fish out of the sea and cover them so that they
can exist outside the waters within the boat (saved). We know this covering to
be the blood of the Lamb.
Secondly, YHVH needs to be covered so that His Holiness
and Presence can be hidden as a safety precaution while
He dwells amongst His people. We see mention of this
covering that covers and contains the presence of YHVH
in the next word, namely border that connects to the
building of the Tabernacle. The Tabernacle was the place
that was used to facilitate the Sacrificial System.
Zidon means to hunt or to fish which was the last
instruction Yshua gave His Disciples before He went
back to His Father; they had to go out to all the nations
and preach the Gospel, the message of repentance to
all people and bring them back to YHVH so that they
can enter His Kingdom. As people come into the
Kingdom they all become part of the Tabernacle where
YHVH indwells them by His Spirit.
We saw with Issachar the support and funding of missionary work and with
Zebulon we see the people who actually go out and do the work amongst the
nations. Each one of us has this call to go out and fish people into the
Kingdom.

11. Joseph
Joseph is the 11th son of Jacob Joseph means increase and
addition.
Gen 49:22-26

Positive: He is a fruitful branch whose branches run

over the wall. The archers grieved him, shot at him, and
hated him. His bow is strong and his arms have been
made strong. People slander and attack him verbally but YHVH makes
his arms (faith) strong. He is the Shepherd and the stone of Israel. He is
11

blessed by YHVH with blessings from heaven, from the deep and from
under.
Negative: None
Lessons from Joseph: Josephs life is the closest prophetic
representation of Yshua and Yshua is the One Who brought
Salvation and Grace and He is coming again as the Judge.
Joseph depicts the Christians who have the Spirit of the
Shepherd that has the revelation and blessing from heaven,
from above, from below and from under. They are the wild
branch that grew over the wall into all nations to gather YHVHs
people and shepherd them back to Him with the revelation of
Messiah. They have a special anointing and are blessed with all
the fruit of the Spirit.

Joseph represents the Disciples of Messiah who walk as Yshua

walked in order to reach and disciple people into relationship with the father. It is
also about reconciliation between the 12 brothers meaning that the children of
YHVH need to leave their differences behind and become Ecahd or One with
one another and with Messiah Yshua, the Lamb and the Word. The Christians
have the Lamb revelation of Messiah and the Jews have the Word or Torah
revelation of Messiah.

12. Benyamin
Benyamin born as the 12th son of Jacob. Number 12 is
considered a perfect number, it symbolises YHVH's power
and authority as well as the completeness of a nation.
Benyamin means son of my sorrow and son of my right
hand.
Gen 49:27

Positive: He shall raven (tear into pieces) like a wolf that devour his prey
in the morning and divide the spoil at evening.
Negative: None

Lesson from Benyamin:

Raven is the Hebrew word taraph and is used in Gen 37:33 where the
brothers explained to their father that Joseph was devoured by a wild beast, torn
into pieces. This word is used twice in that passage.
Wolf used in Isa11:6 where the wolf will dwell with the lamb, talking about how
YHVH will set His hand a second time to gather the remnant of His people.
Prey is the word ad that is found in Zep 3:8 where it talks about YHVH that will
rise up to the prey, gather the nations and pour out His fierce anger upon the
kingdoms of the earth, devouring them with the fire of His jealousy.
Devour is the word akal that is first used in Scripture in Gen 2:16 & 17
explaining the first commandment regarding the trees, those to eat from and the
one not to eat from. Akal is used twice in each of these verses and this is
where sin originated in the Garden.

12

Prophetic Insight:
We can see from these words and
passages, puzzle pieces coming together
setting the stage for the end time events
where it mentions the original sin that has
to do with devouring and the final
judgement that has to do with devouring
with fire. We see the beginning of sin in
the Garden where man devoured the
forbidden fruit and we see the end of sin
being devoured by YHVHs fire.
Benyamin means Son of My sorrow and
Son of my right hand; the hand that has come the first time to bring grace (right
hand) and the hand that will come a second time that will bring judgement
(sorrow). Benyamin represents the Messianic believers in Messiah and Torah
that will play an instrumental part in the current time and times to come.
We see the gathering of the remnant of YHVHs people as well as the
gathering of the nations and kingdoms so that they can be devoured. The
number 2 is seen throughout all passages and confirms that this is a time of the
restoration of relationships between Joseph and his brothers (believers of
different backgrounds and denominations including the Jews) as well as the
restoration of the relationship between YHVH and man.
As with creation there was morning and evening indicating a new day so will it
be morning and evening, the last day; devouring His prey in the morning,
dividing the spoils in the evening, marking the 7th day or 1000 year Sabbath
Rest where we will be elevated to the Father and live with Him forever.
