1. Report Cards
As you know, report cards were sent home on Wednesday March 31, 2020. Please
take the time to review your child’s progress with them. Set some goals for term

rationale for doing this. Once again I’ll review the procedure. There are far too

us to move students into another class to balance numbers. We do not wish to

listed above. That would not “ease anxiety”. Lastly, over the summer some
parents take the opportunity to “lobby” for a class, a particular teacher or express

a need for their child to be with a friend. As you can well imagine, any changes
bring questions about “Why was my child moved?” or “You permitted a change for

Weekend.

Our schools are exciting, enriching places for young learners as they explore the world around them, learn to solve problems, and make
new friends. Our Kindergarten programs help students get off to the best possible start. Your child will be challenged and encouraged to
do his or her very best. Our caring teachers are with them every step of the way!

Junior Kindergarten for September 2010 is for children born in 2006 and is offered at all elementary schools in Hamilton-Wentworth District
School Board.

Senior Kindergarten students will have been born in 2005. You only have to register children for SK if they are not currently attending school this
year.
