FANA Vision

"To be the catalyst and foundational federation for the progression of global respect and support for
Aboriginal Nations and the important and necessary role they play in the development of sustainable
public policy, economic empowerment and civic engagement for the world."

FANA Mission
To provide leadership and serve as the collective voice for the development of the mass unification of
the Aboriginal Tribes and Nations of the Americas, through historical research & validation, cultural
education and implementation of economic and sustainable development initiatives.
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities for sustainability and self-sufficiency for Member Nations
of FANA
- Facilitating the exchange of ideas & information, and the implementation of policies & practices,
to remedy critical issues affecting member Nations of FANA
- Providing global opportunities for educational attainment and real world experience to develop
the next generation of FANA Leadership
- Researching and making available pertinent historical resources for the proper reeducation of
the general public
FANA Affirmations:
1. FANA affirms the inherent right to sovereignty and self-determination of each member Nation
of the Federation as a right and responsibility imbued upon them from Creator, passed through
their ancestors, which cannot be limited or extinguished by any foreign power;
2. FANA affirms and requires that the inherent right to sovereignty and self-determination of each
member Nation of the Federation be acknowledged and respected by all other member Nations
of FANA, by all other American Aborigine nations, and by all Municipal, State, Federal and
National powers and/or entities of the United States or any other foreign power;
3. FANA affirms that all member Nations of the Federation are free from foreign interference in
any internal tribal matter;
4. FANA affirms the right of all member Nations of the Federation to freely and lawfully engage in
commerce, develop government-to-government relationships, and to seek mutual
acknowledgment with any other Tribal or National entity, the federal government of the United
States or any individual state, foreign or domestic;
5. FANA affirms that member Nations of the Federation shall view honesty, integrity, mutual
cooperation and respect as the fundamental elements for the progressive and sustained success
of FANA;
6. FANA affirms that member Nations of the Federation will respect and seek to support and
defend the rights and status of all other member Nations of the Federation, and shall never
willfully seek the harm or detriment of any other member Nation;
7. FANA affirms the essential equality of all American Aborigine Nations, whether they are
member Nations of FANA or not;
8. FANA wholeheartedly rejects any form of recognition which infringes upon any of the inherent
and sovereign rights of any aboriginal Nation or of any of the affirmations previously expressed
in this communication, from any entity of the federal government of the United States, the
government of any individual state, or the government of any other foreign power.
