I. General Company Description

Clubbin, formed as a partnership, is a company which will


operate primarily as a service provider catering to the night life
of Bangalore. It will consist of a listing app of the bars and clubs
in the city with a social media service for the bars and the users
to socialize.
Mission Statement: To connect people who are outgoing and
would like to connect with each other in the exotic night life of
Bangalore.
Company Goals and Objectives:
The Companys Goals are:
To make the app so successful so that it is there in the
smart phone of everyone who enjoys the nightlife.
To be a trusted brand when it comes to any information on
clubs and bars.
To be a service for people to meet like minded people and
provide a sense of tribe.
To not just have a faithful customer base, but have fans.
Our services will be marketed to the people who like going to
bars and clubs, and also to the clubs who would like to promote
themselves via our app.
The Industry: This company comes under the industry of foodtech. This sector has been of major growth in the year 2015.
Looking at the current trends, shows that this industry is going
to expand and ultimately more people are going to start making
use of the services in this industry. So our strategy would be to

add the social media service to our app, which allows the people
to connect over food and beverages.

II. Services

Clubbin

This service would include an app and a website, where


many clubs/bars can put up the various events happening at
their place.
The app users, can view the whole event list and decide
where they are going for the night and that gets highlighted
on their page.
Others can view who is going where and can give
recommendations or can add their names to the guest list.
In this app, the clubs/bars are not just an ad, but an
interactive entity which can interact with the whole
ecosystem, make connections and attract more people.
So this is not just another booking app but also a promotion
app for the bars.
Another feature of the app would be that people can vouch
for each other.
So if a person vouches for two different people and they
happen to be at the same bar or club, they both get a
message saying that you both have been vouched for and
you happen to be at the same place.
Then they can decide to meet each other.

So this way, we can connect people in the real world, who


were already friends in the virtual world of social media.

Economics
Facts about the food-tech industry:
The market comprises of all the middle class and rich
people who enjoy a weekly drink at their local bar.
The food services market is touted to be a USD 50 billion
market
It is growing at 16 to 20 per cent YOY.
It is estimated the market to grow close to 150 times more
than what it currently is at.
Barriers in entering this market are:

Consumer acceptance and brand recognition.
Ensuring customer satisfaction at the restraunt.
Building trust with the club/bar.

To overcome the barriers:


o We would start small, maybe even with one bar and a
few costumers.
o Ensure that those customers are treated well.
o And then increase the number of costumers.
o Form a report.

Customers
The customers will be :

Middle and upper class people, who would enjoy an


occasional drink at their favorite bar.
People who are passionate about food and can relate to the
ambience of a certain place.
People with a sense of tribe and who love socializing.
The ideal customers will be 18+ College students.
The other ideal group of customers i.e. the Bars/clubs would
be the one with a specific theme and ambience.
It could be something that sets them apart (in terms of food,
beverages, music etc.) which they would want to showcase
on our app.

Competition
List your major competitors:
Zomato.
Evening flavors.
Easy Diner.
All of them have a provision to reserve tables and view
restraunts, but none of them have a social media service except
for zomato which is very basic (just putting up reviews and
adding friends).
Evening flavours is more into Food and beverages, deals, parties
(same as us) but our social media platform could give us a major
advantage over them.

Niche
Our company will provide an opportunity for people to connect
with each other over food and beverages, provide them with a
sense of tribe , and let them bond with a certain venue with
which they seem to relate.

Strategy
The app will be marketed in the colleges in Bangalore
during fests or special events.
Also in malls, cinemas etc, wherever the youth is present.
We need to market itas a cool social media app.

Pricing
The app would be free for the users.

Initially, a few bars will have to be allowed to join and


promote themselves on the app for free.

Later the new joining bars can be charged.


We can earn commissions on every bookings
Bars can be charged for special promotions.
