The enclosed petition signed by St Bernard Parish Residents residing in and around the
Corinne Park and Lena Drive South Areas is in opposition to the requested zoning change
from R1 to Commercial for the above described property just North of 1801 East St. Bernard
Hwy. contiguous to the extensions of Campagna and Blanchard Drives.

In these neighborhoods that are for the majority re-occupied, we are moving away from
transient housing and temporary situations on to long range community planning that
preserves our standards of living in our residential neighborhoods.

We all realize that shortly after Katrina and Rita, this R1 area of Campagna and Blanchard
was used as a staging area for Multi-task (the FEMAtrailer and delivery contractor).
Multi-task was very noisy EARLYmorning, all day and into the night and didnot allow the
East Side Corinne Residents to enjoy their new "oasis" of a backyard. ,It involved the use of
over-tonage work trucks and gasoline storage tanks among other industrial usage. There was
additional truck traffic on Corinne among other annoyances and inconveniences.

We did not publicly complain about Multi-task or its workers who lived in their own campers
in this field between Lena Drive and Corinne; because like other Bernardians we understood
the temporary compromises necessary to jump start the rebuild effort and to stabilize our area.

Multi-task has since shutdown and moved out.

The RV Rental operation was begun sometime later. The property owner has been issued an
order to cease and desist. The reasons that existed for the parish to shutdown the RV Rental
still exist. The surrounding neighbors again havenot been able to enjoy their "oasis" of a
backyard. They have experienced tresspassing, disturbance of peace, suspicious activity and the
nuisances of noise, night work and lights, over-tonage equipment trucks, additional traffic,
annoyance, and other inconveniences.

The residents that have signed the enclosed petition to oppose any change in zoning from
R1 to Commercial are residing in surrounding and contiguous R1 properties.

OF A MISDEMEANOR PUNISHABLE EITHER BY A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN TWENTY DOLLARS
($20.00) AND NOT MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) OR NOT MORE THAN
NINETY (90) DAYS JAIL SENTENCE, OR BOTH, FOR EACH AND EVERY DAY THAT SUCH A

This notice pertains to the portion of your property situated beyond (north at)
2009-2015 Barcelona Dr. All of the illegal occupants must vacate the property along
\-vith any of their belongings. All campers, heavy equipment vehicles, inventory,
equipment and any other items indicative of a commercial or industrial nature must be
removed from the site by December 20th 01'2007.

The portion of ground at issue is zoned R -1 and does not allow for the storage or
parking of such items or vehicles. The presence of the afore mentioned items constitutes
commercial use of residentially zoned property, and is there fore a violation of local
zoning laws.

Be advised that you as the property owner, all occupants, or any parties
storing/parking the above mentioned items on the subject site, can face criminal fines and
penalties for violation of the local zoning chapter.

Also: the presence of multiple camper trailers on the site constitutes an illegal
trailer court. This condition also constitutes violation of the local code of ordinances.
