Thursday drop ins

All level artists welcome even those that have never held a brush...there's an artist
hiding inside there somewhere!!!
Come in and paint or sketch in any medium...oils, acrylics, colored pencils, pastels, or
watercolor.
I will help or walk through step by step with any of my past classes, most upcoming
classes, packets or if you'd like help with creating your own piece I will help you with
design, color and technique.
Open studio time will be held on Thursday's from 9:30-2:30 and 6:30-9:30.
Every third Thursday of the month I will offer an optional time from 9:30-3:30(yes I
will cook lunch!!!) as well as 6:30-9:30.
Cost- $12.00/ hour or 10.00/hour if you make Thursdays a regular thing.
For those who have paid for a previous scheduled class and had to cancel, you are
able to paint for $3.00/ hour.
The class fee covers paint and me! Although the other supplies are extra.
There will be no open Studio on feb 18th, instead Feb 11th will be a full day with lunch.
There will also be no open studio on April 7th and 14th.

Birdie on a branch is a class I will be teach both in watercolor and colored pencils.
Take your pick! Both great paintings to whip up for a birthday
gift, hostess gift. Or make a smidge smaller for a gift card.
There is no prep for either of these classes!
Also a great colored pencil project to choose from. This little
teddy wold be great to sketch up for a small gift or as a gift card.

texture using brush and painting knife

Zentangle Peacock
This piece is done using ink then colored pencils. Lots of
Fun!
This peacock wont be available in packet form until
spring 2017 so get in on this class while you can!

I love the colors of this batik! So warm and earthy.
Great Batik to try out with the last step creating a more rustic
or antique feel to the painting.

Dragon- Acrylic and Mediums with Lisa Roberts

Lisa will demonstrate new techniques and methods
to use pouring medium and Acrylic paint to create
an amazing unique effect. She will also teach you about pouring medium and
how to create different effects on wood panels.
Nut Hatch- colored pencils

This bird is sketched and blended with solvents to get a
creamy effect with the pencils. Great class for all level
artist.

Batik style of watercolor is a blast and if you
haven't tried it here's your chance.
Keep in mind you can switch the colour pallet up. Maybe into the reds or
oranges.
Great painting for the beginner artist.
