MASTER OF FAMILY LIFE AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT (MFLCD)
The MFLCD program was instituted in 1983. It evolved from the MAHE major in
FLCD instituted in 1958 under the College of Education. MFLCD is a two-year program
designed to equip professionals with the essential theories and skills for building and
nurturing careers early childhood education and family life. Graduates of the MFLCD
program pursue among others, careers as child development consultants, preschool
teachers and administrators, family life specialist, program planners and researchers.
