1. Whisk castor sugar and eggs in a mixer until light and fluffy.
2. Add oil and vanilla essence, mix well.
3. Add sifted flour and baking powder to mixture alternatively with
milk.
4. Pour the creamed mixture into a greased oven tray and bake in a
preheated oven at 180C for 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Allow to cool and cut into squares.
CHOCOLATE COATING:
1. Heat sugar, cocoa, butter and water until bubbly.
2. Allow to cool, dip sponge squares into sauce and roll in coconut.
KHOBWE
4 Eggs
2 Cups Flour

METHOD
Mix Cooking oil and sugar
Mix one egg at a time in the bowl where there is sugar and oil

Vanilla essence, mkaka half Lt, 125g shuga, 5 ma yolk a madzira. Ukawira mkaka
flavour vanilla essence ikani half shuga. Phulani to cool. Ikani ma yolks mu bowl
ndi shuga wostala, thirani mixer ya panga cool down pangono pangono whisk.

PANCAKES
100g flour, 25g shuga, pinch mchere, 250g milk, 3 mazira, 25g mafuta. Put mazira,
shuga, salt ndi mkaka together whisk. Thirani flour mix. Pamapeto mafuta leave
for few mins. Start making pancakes I think u can take over.

7. Add all the boilings, make sure they dont stick, and make sure

8. Add Broccoli/ Cauliflower
9. Add your lettuce/Cabbage
10. Add Onion and green pepper
11. Stir very well
12. Add your salad sprinkle for flavour and save
Note: You can add mayonnaise if you like
MEAT BALLS
mince meat, 1egg,2 slices of bread, milk spices of Ur choice, onion, green paper,
garlic flour (baking powder optional) dice onion& gpaper, put ur mince in a bowl
add onion,gpaper garlic & spice mix well, soak the bread in the milk & drain the
milk by squezin the bread make them into bread crumbs.
Add the bred crumbs, egg to the mince mix well. Make them into balls roll then in
flour and fly them in a pan with little oil
BEANS SALAD
(This is very very easy but mouth watering)
YOU WILL NEED: 1 tin baked beans,3tspns mayonaise or as
required and Mango achaar(not the hot chillie one but mild)
METHOD
Open the beans and drain the fluids and put in a dish then add 3
Tbsps mango achaar lastly add the mayonaise and mix well
Put in the fridge before serving......IT ONLY TAKES ABOUT 5
MINUTES
There is yet another easiest one. All you need is a tin of beans(of your choice),1
tomato (medium size),1 Onion (preferably red), 1 green pepper and 2/3
tablespoons of mayonaise. You can add garlic thus according to your liking.
Cut tomato,onion and green pepper into fine cubes,together with the garlic if you
want it. Mix these with the beans. Add the mayonaise and mix well.
You can serve this with some baked potatoes ndi kanyama or any main meal of
your choice.
MIKATE

LIVER 2
Kaphikidwe kena ka liver ya ng'ombe kuti muinjoye. Cut your liver in small
pieces very small ikani poteropo. Enough onions, tomatoe, cooking
oil and spices according to your like (flavour), salt to taste. Heat ur
pot, pour cooking oil, add onions (sliced) until it is brown, add spices
stir then add sliced tomatos and salt cook until its done then add
your liver stir pafupi pafupi and pliz cook at a low temperature (3)
when u experience a lot of oil than liver fluids add some water slowly
up until it is done. U will enjoy it
PASTA N CHICKEN
pasta n chicken, zofunika: mnofu wankhuku, spagheti/maccaroni,1g/paper,1o
nion, 12table spoon batter, 1tea spoon white paper,2tspoon floor,&
12 cup milk ndi mchere.

BANANA FLITTERS
Ingredients:
1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup milk
1 egg
3 bananas, mashed and sprinkled with 1 teaspoon
lemon juice to keep from discoloring
oil for deep frying
confectioners' sugar
Preparation:
Measure, sift and mix all dry ingredients. Whisk together the milk and egg; add to
dry ingredients. Fold in the mashed bananas. If too thick add a little milk, and if
batter seems too thin, add flour. Batter should have consistency to mound up in a
spoon. Heat deep fryer to about 375 or add 1 inch of oil to a deep skillet or kettle
and use a deep fryer thermometer to check tempperature. When fritters will cook in
5 minutes, the oil is ready. Drop by spoonfuls in small batches. As fritters brown
on one side turn. Drain on paper towels. Keep warm and just before serving
sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar.

Ingredients:
6 tablespoons butter, softened
2/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup evaporated or regular milk
1 1/2 cups peeled finely shredded sweet potato
2/3 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Preparation
beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla
until well blended.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon,
nutmeg, and salt. Stir into the butter mixture alternately with milk,
mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in sweet potato
and chopped nuts. Spoon batter into greased muffin cups, filling
about 2/3 full. Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes, or until centers
spring back when pressed with fingertip. Cool in pan on rack for 5
minutes. Remove from pan and serve muffins warm. Makes about 1
dozen sweet potato muffins.
FISH CUSTARD...
1fish, fresh or dried
half cup milk

wt another basin.cook by steaming method till eggx n milk bignz 2seto.its swt.
CHIGWADA
Sorry didnt finish,after that make a topping of your choice but with me I like to use
granadilla pulp topping or fruit jam topping after that put it in a fridge for atleast 2
hours before serving the left overs you can put them back inthe fridge...........
Salad wa masamba a Chinese.
Dulani masamba anu size yaying'ono bwino kwambiri ndipo
mukamaliza muwaviike mu madzi otentha pang'ono oyika mchere,
viyikani kwa mphindi imodzi kapena ziwiri ndi kuwachotsamo ndi
kuwayika mu chosefera madzi. Dulani tomato ndi kuchotsa za mkati
(any shape u lyk), green pepper, white onions (preferably
with green leaves) sakanizani ndi masamba aja ngati atha madzi ndi
kudyera chakudya monga nsima, tchipisi, spaghetti kapena mpunga.
Kumbukirani kusankha/kugula masamba a nthete (fresh) osati
onyala. Enjoy!
BONONGWE;
Bonongwe mukhoza kugula ku nsika kapena ma shop omwe amasunga
masamba komanso mukhoza kukhala naye kunyumba kwanu ku ka
small garden . Mukathyola bonongwe muzithyola wanthete osati
wamasamba okhakhala. Mumutsuke bwino bwino ndkuchotsa

CHAPATI
Chapati chimakhala bwino kwambiri ngati mwayuza chapati flour komanso
ordinary flour amakhala bwino. Measure 2cups of flour or according to how many
people u are cooking for. Add apinch of salt, and cooking oil. Mix the contents
together with warm water until the dough is hard( isalimbe kwambiri) mould it
together for some time until its all nice and smooth. Cover with atea towel for
some time When cooked make sure u have oil or butter to rub on your chapati for it
to remain soft and moist. Try it and enjoy
SAUSAGE ROLL
try this one too 3cups flour, 2 eggs, 1/2 tablespoon salt, 1/4 pound butter,1/2 cup
water, combine flour, butter eggs water and salt, knead the dough, cover let it satnd
for abt 2hrs , roll out the dough it shldnt b too thiick abt 3inches, roll the dough
around sausage until it is completely covered, brush the exterior of the sausage
rolls bake until slightly brown enjoy trust me they will be delicious
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
2 cups home made cookie mix 2tsp Vanilla 1 egg 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
half cup chopped nuts
1. Method: combine all ingredients in large bowl and blend until welll mixed 2.
Drop by tsp onto un greased cookie sheets and bake at 375 degrees 8 to 10
minutesuntil light golden brown. 3. Cool for 2 minutes.
Home made cookie % cups all purpose flour, @ cups Granulated sugar, 1 cup
firmly packed brown sugar, 2 tsp salt, 1cup solid vegetable shortening and half cup
butter
1. In a large bowl, combine flour,granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder
and salt 2. mix well until blended 3. cut in shortening and butter with pastry
blender,tow knives or you can use your hands until mixture resembles cornmeal
and shortening butter is evenly distributed 4. Store in fridge in a tightly container
for up to twelve weeks.....5. when you want to make cookies, measure amount

Method
Mtsukani bwinobwino chisoso ndikuchithothola (osadula ndi
mpeni). Wilitsani madzi mu mpoto, akawira thiranimo chisoso,
dikirani 5-10mins, mukatero tembenuzani ndikudikiranso 2 min.
Kenako phulani ndikutaya madzi onse aja (timachita izi chifukwa
chisoso chimakhala chowawa) Mukatero terekaninso pamoto ndi
kuthira madzi ena. Timapingula madzi kamodzi kapena kawiri
(yesetsani kuti mulawe kuti muone ngati chasiya kuwawa). Kenako
2 slices bacon
8 ounces penne pasta
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk

LAZANYA
Ingredients:
Lasagne sheets ( sold at Shoprite where they sell pastas,
bolognaise sauce (cooked spicy minced meat)
White sauce
Grated Cheese of your choice but Parmesan is the best
Method:
- Cook Lasagne sheets just like the way you cook spaghetti until ala dente (firm to
bite)
-prepare bolognaise sauce (cooked spicy minced meat with no msuzi)
- prepare white sauce
- In an oven proof dish, pour white sauce just enough to cover the base of the dish,
then put a layer of minced meat, then a layer of lasgne sheets
- repeat this mixture till you reach the top of the dish, pour white sauce and then
sprinckle cheese
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2.Pour cake mix into a large bowl. Stir in eggs, oil, and lemon
extract until well blended. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough into a bowl of
confectioners' sugar. Roll them around until they're lightly covered.
Once sugared, put them on an ungreased cookie sheet.
3.Bake for 6 to 9 minutes in the preheated oven. The bottoms will be
light brown, and the insides chewy.
SCONES AND BUNS
Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
5 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
2.In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter. Mix
the egg and milk in a small bowl, and stir into flour mixture until moistened.
3.Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead briefly. Roll dough out
into a 2 cm thick round. Cut into 8 wedges, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
4.Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown
BOMBE FISH
First of all you marrinate it with lemmon, garlic and salt. Let it dry a little bit in the
sun. Then u smoke or grill it medium heat in the oven or charcoal until its semi dry.
Beat ur egg then deep ur fish in it and fry it in oil. If u have fresh mint leaves u put
them in the oil while frying together with ginger. Comes up really nice... You will
love it!!!
When serving it u can put it in a pirex dish, cut ur round onions, tomatoes, green
paper & carrots... fry them a little or soak them in hot salty water and put them on
top as part of decoration.
BEEF

peeled and cut into cubes,cooking oil, BBQ spice,tomato,onion, salt and pepper.

add beef and BBQ spice and fry until brown. add onion,(garlic),then tomato and
water. simmer for 1hr on medium heat.30 minutes into the cooking time,add
potatoes. stir so that zipangane mix bwino.add salt and pepper to taste!
Ground Beef
.The easy way: Fry in oil (preferably olive oil/canola/butter) on medium heat
till well done (you can drain the fat), add spices of your choice, then
fry in onion, tomato, and green paper.Add tomato sauce of your
choice and serve it with chapati/ spaghetti/rice. TIP: Don't add
water.
CASSAVA SNACK:

mumazira aja chimodzichimodzi ndikumaponya mupan fry until
golden brown and crispy, phulani ndikumwera tea kaya kupatsa
mwana popita ku school. Ndi snack yokuti umangomwa madzi
komanso ana amene sakonda chinangwa adzachikonda.
Phala la Carrot

Chocolate Brownies,
U want regret. Serves 8 Ingredients 250gm dark chocolate, finally
chopped.2 eggs, beaten.Half cup plain flour.Half cup chopped roasted
walnuts. Half cup sour cream. 1 cup brown sugar. 2 tbp vanilla essence.
30gm butter.30gm extra butter. For the chocolate icing: 125 gm dark
chocolate, chopped. 60gm unsalted butter. METHOD 1. Grease a square
cake pan and dust with the flour and keep aside. Melt the butter over a
low frame. Add the chocolate and stir till it melts and mixes well with
the butter. Cool.2. Beat the extra butter in a bowl and add the sugar and
essence.Add the eggs. 3. Sift the flour and stir into the mixture. Add the
chocolate-butter mixture and the nuts and cream. Beat 2getha and mix
well. 4. Spread the butter in the prepared pan and bake in a moderate
oven 4 45 minutes. Cool. 5. 4 the icing, melt the chocolate and butter
over a low frame let it cool. Spread over the slice. Cut and serve when
the icing is firm. Bon Appetite. Note: u can find the other ingredients at

MOUTH WATERING RICE
Ingridents
5 cup
s of killombelo rice
3 eggs
1kg of chicken fillet
1kg of peas
cooking oil
Carots
onions
salt
and spices of your choice
HOW TO PREPARE
fry the rice in 7 table spoons of cooking oil for 2 min,add 2 cups of
water and wait till the water is dry,chop the chicken fillet small pieces
and fry in atleast 12 table spoons of cooking oil ,when it turns brown add
small chops of onion as much as u like (u can put spices if you like) mix
for 3 min,mix the fried chicken, the rice and the dry peas and cook for 6
min when the food is ready,chop the carots in small pieces and scrumble
the eggs in 4 table spoons of cooking oil and mix with the rice (ADD
SALT TO TASTE)
MANGO ACHAR
Ingredients:
Green fresh mangoes 1 sizable basin
Achar Masala mix 500g
Paplika 250g
Chillie powder 4 Table spoon
Cooking oil 1L
Pounded garlic 1 Table spoon
Salt to taste
1st stage:
Wash mangoes cut them in small slices
Put them in a dry basin & add salt mix them well cover with a cloth/lace
leave it for 24 hrs
Remove the mangoes to a clean dry mart or lichero, leave them to shrink
for a day or 2 (depending on the weather)
2nd stage:
Boil oil for 20-25 mins when its done leave it aside
Put the mangoes in a clean dry basin
Take all the spices mix them in oil then pour the mixture into mango
basin, stir them using a dry wooden spoon until they are all mixed
Keep your achar in a dry tight jar with oil full to the brim
NOTE
Always use a dry spoon whenever serving it!
You can keep mango achar for a yr in fridge or on the shelve
If you put it in a fridge always keep it there
ingredients

ZIkapsya dulani tomato(mutachotsa khungu lakunja)
grated is better ndi kuthira mupoto muja.
Akapsya tomato thiranimo mkaka uku mukutakasa
pang'ono pang'ono.
zisiyeni ziwile(if you have a blender you can blend at this
point) koma ngati mulibe sefani musefa yotsuka bwino.

pepper
when done phulirani pambali.

then enjoy your home made soup.
Banana cake
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup shortening
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
kitchen scissors.
2. Combine all the ingredients for the marinade and mix
well
3. Marinate the chicken for about 12 hours
4. Slowly grill the chickens over coals or in the oven.
5. Brush the chickens frequently with alittle of the sauce
while grilling.
Banana loaf
125ml (1/2 c) butter or margarine at room temperature
125-250 ml (1/2-1 c) sugar
5ml (1t) vanilla essence
2 eggs, at room temperature
500ml (2c) cake flour
10 ml (2t) baking powder
2.5ml (1/2 t) salt
4-6 ripe bananas, mashed with a fork ( 400 g/1 3/4 c)
1. Preheat the oven to 180 grease and line a small loaf pan with baking
paper.
2. Cream the butter and sugar and add the vanilla essence.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4.Sift together the dry ingredients and add to the mixture.
5. Lastly,mash the bananas with a fork and add.
6. Blend well and turn the mixture into the pan
Bake for 1 hour or until done
7.Slice and butter.
SAUSAGE ROLLS:
Filling:
500g chicken or lamb (mutton) mince
2 slices bread
Pounded green chillies, to taste
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1 teaspoon ground dhania (coliander seeds)
To whiten white clothes : Soak white clothes in hot water with a slice
of lemon for 10 minutes
Lemon tray bake
225g butter
225g sugar
4 medium eggs
300g self raising flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Zest and juice of 1 large lemon.
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
2. Simply put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and
beat together
3. Spoon into a baking tray and bake for 35-40 minutes if
using shallow tray, or 40-45 minutes for deeper tray, until
risen and springy to touch.
Flour in a sprinkler
1. Place the flour and salt in a bowl, add sufficient water to
form a firm dough
2.Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Allow to rest
for 15 minutes.
3. Divide dough into 14 balls. Roll Seven balls out on
floured surface into 20cm circles.
4.Stack the seven circles one on top of the other after
brushing each circle with a teaspoon melted butter and
sprinkling flour between them (only the underside of the
bottom circle and the right top one should be left un
greased).
5.Now roll the stack out evenly to fit 29 x 39cm baking tray.
Place the dough onto the greaced tray and spread the top
lightly with oil
6.Bake in preheated oven 180c until the top sheet puffs up.
7,Remove from the oven and separate sheets whilst
hot.stack together once again. When slighly cooler trim
edges then cut into 6cm strips (if you should get 6 sprips
from one shit).
8.Place the half side of a damp kitchen towel at bottom of a
flat container place the chapati strips on top then cover with
the remaing towel.
9.Repeat the procedure with the remaining seven balls
Tip, ensure that the dough is always covered with a damp
cloth or kitchen towel to prevent drying out.
MINCE FILLING
4 cups mince
1/2 cup water
Pounded green chillies to taste
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
2 teaspoons whole jeero (cumin)
2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup grated onions
EGGPLANTS/BRINGELS
Ingredients:
4 sizable egg plants
2 XL eggs
1 red onion chopped
1 green pepper chopped
2 big tomatoes

Method:
Beat your eggs in a bowl leave it aside

you should have, cooking oil, grarlic, onions, black pepper, turmeric

Banana cake
Ingredients:
1 cup mashed bananas
2 large eggs (beat york and white separately)
2 large lemons (squeeze and use the juice, grate the lind)
2 cups cake flour
1 tsp bicarbornate soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. salt
Peel tomatoes. Boil tomatoes with sugar for 1 hour. Add vinegar,
cinnamon, cloves and salt. Boil together until thick enough for jam. Put
in sterilized jars and seal.
