Document Usage
This chapter describes the relationship among different manuals
in the ZXG10 ISMG (V6.10) Operation & Maintenance Center
document suite. It also explains the method and order of usage
of these manuals to obtain information easily.

Relationship among Manuals


Each manual in the suite focuses on different aspect of ZXG10
ISMG (V6.10) Operation & Maintenance Center but they are
related to each other. Usage of these manuals in appropriate
way and correct order makes the system configuration,
operation, and maintenance easier and trouble free. Figure 1
explains the relationship among all the manuals in the manual
suite.

Software installation manual includes all the details of ISMG


software installation and instructions regarding how to make the
client/server system work efficiently on Windows and Linux
operating systems.
Operation manuals provide information about configuration and
overall operation of the system. It is divided into sub categories
depending upon the structure of ZXG10 ISMG (V6.10) Operation
& Maintenance Center. It includes configuration management,
diagnosis and test, and radio parameters.
Command manual provides the list of all commands. It explains
each commands syntax, parameters, along with its example.

Order of Usage
ZTE recommends reading the documentation guide first to

This chapter describes the document distribution methods to the
customers and provides information regarding customer
feedback.

Document Distribution
Product manuals are distributed to the customers in the
following ways:

Printed manuals are shipped along with the equipment.


Manuals in PDF format on CDs are shipped along with the
equipment.
Manuals in word format are available on the ZTEs technical
support website, http://support.zte.com.cn
Follow these steps to download electronic product manuals
from the ZTE technical support website:
i.

Open http://support.zte.com.cn and click English to go


to the English version homepage.

ii. In the User Center pane, input your


password and check code, and click Log In.

For first time registration on the server, click Register


and input related information by following the on-screen
instructions. After confirmation and completion of the
registration process, the customer is sent a username
and password for logging on to the website.
iii. Click Documentation on the main menu, select Product
Manuals from the left pane and then click GSM/GPRS
from a list of products displayed in the right pane.
Click the desired product version link. A list of documents
accompanying the chosen product is displayed. Click the

desired document link and then click the download link


subsequently to download the file.
iv. Another option is to search for the document by inputting
the keywords in the Keyword field and click the Search
