basics to intermediate to advanced strategies.....all together

During this session we will discuss some INVESTMENT STRATEGIES AND ALSO
INTRA DAY STRATEGIES

Lets start with basics

What is stock market??

The whole game is for one more P

: P for PROFIT
you all know this....BULLS /LONG/BUY AND
BEARS/SHORT/SELL

Fundamental analysis vs technical analysis ???

For intraday trades the traders make use technical
analysis and charts rather than fundamental
analysis....while the investors believes in different
fundamentals factors to take investment decision

Fundamental factors are more of country's economy

: Govt policy
: GDP
: inflation
: Industry and company analysis
: RBI policy AND guidance ......then CRR, REPO, REVESRE REPO
: Does fundamental analysis works ???
Yesssss
It works
: Warren buffet already proved it

Then...what about technical analysis ...does it works ???

The successful traders already proved it

BIG YESSSSS

Lets see value investing

Now here above is simple value investing

strategy based on nifty PE

Now let's see what happened in year 2015 as per

strategy

Now lets another investment strategy

Many people refer to GOLDEN CROSS or DEATH CROSS for new investment
decisions or exit decision

: Usually, a golden cross is associated with sharp upward price movement and can
be used as a buy signal in the belief that a significant uptrend will follow when
ever small moving average crosses higher moving averages. For example 20 vs
200 MA crossover or golden cross 50 day vs 200 day MA crossover
The reverse of this event is known as a Death Cross where the 50-day MA falls
below the 200-day MA, a bearish signal.
A related theory is the idea that, if the 50-day MA is much higher than the 200day MA (which happens with a fast run up in price), the stock is likely to be
temporarily overbought (therefore, overvalued) which is bearish for the shortrun.

: Please read it and understand it in easy manner

: Now lets see some intra day strategies
: Intraday trades normally suggested only for high volume NSE stocks
Intraday trades can be executed for long i.e. buy and short i.e. sell
: What are popular charting software for intraday trading ?

Traders make of use technical indicators for doing technical analysis for intraday
trading. These indicators generates buy/sell signal along with SL, Entry and Target
For example

amibroker based trade setup

: Traders also uses scanners to scan such buy/sell stocks on certain timeframe (
5min, 15min, hourly) as per comfort and trading styles
: For example

scanner to scan intraday stocks and then allows to refer intra day charts
: For example
: Some traders uses EXCEL to generate trading calls

Trade executed as per excel generated call

: Another example of use of excel

: SO SIMPLE.....SO SWEET
: Well.now lets see some intraday strategies
: Before that lets see what are qualities of intraday trader?

: INTRADAY TRADERS
Think Twice, Act Wise
Dont trust on your HEART, its NOT on
RIGHT SIDE???

: No method/ system/ strategy work 100% and at all times. I should act on a
particular method/ system/ strategy and keep the correct SL and keep booking
profits or stay in the trade till the EOD/ Target/Stopped.
: There are no bulls and no bears----one has to be the right one at the right time
: Timing is very important in trading. Right timing in bad market will give you
profits but bad timing even in good market will definitely give you losses.
Lets see now the intraday trade setup and strategies.
It may be repetition or say revision. I know people have short memories and so
time to time revision is also necessary
: INTRADAY STRATEGY-1

: Read it...understand it and then act

: INTRADAY STRATEGY-2

Read it...understand it and then act

: How to identify such stocks?
One can use of excel to fetch live data from terminal to excel and then let the
excel identify LONG OR SHORTS stocks and let excel calculate intraday STOPLOSS,
ENTRY, TARGET

Other method is to allow your trading terminal to identify such LONG or SHORT
stocks for you between 9.20-9.30 AM

: One can add custom columns in the market watch

See it the setup

INTRADAY STRATEGY-3
this is also shared to you but lets see what it is ???
Intraday Trading Using Camarilla

What is Camarilla? How it came into existence? Who first thought of trading with
this method?
Camarilla is a method used for doing intraday trading in various markets like
Forex, Equities, Futures, and Commodities
The Camarilla method of trading was discovered while day trading in 1989 by Nick
Stott. Nick Stott is a successful bond trader in the financial markets. Nick Stott
invented this method from his interest in Fibbonacci levels
: To use the Camarilla Equation, you enter yesterday's high, low and close. The
calculation then gives you intraday support and resistance based on pivot point.
: The pattern formed by the 8 levels is broadly symmetrical, and the most
important levels are the 'L3', 'L4' and 'H3', 'H4' levels. While day trading, traders
look for the market to reverse if it hits an 'L3' or 'H3' level. They would then open
a position AGAINST the trend, using a stop loss somewhere before the associated
'L4' or 'H4' level.
The another way to day trade with the Camarilla Equation is to regard the 'H4'
and 'L4' levels as 'breakout' levels - in other words to go WITH the trend if prices
push through either the H4 or L4 level

INTRADAY STRATEGY-4
Gann's Square of Nine Intraday Calculator

Gann relied heavily on geometrical and numerical relationships and created

several tools to help with his work. Among these tools are the Square of Nine,
Square of 144, and the Hexagon.
This calculator is meant for trading only intraday.

: Enter the LTP OR ATP average traded price of any stock / index/ underlying
anytime during the market hours.
: If you are unable to find the WAP price, you can also enter average or last trade
price of the stock / underlying.
: The ideal time is 15min - 1hr after market opens.
After entering the price, click calculate button. You will get the buy and sell
recommendations. Follow the recommendations you get to trade.

Lets see some observationsno technical

: Read it and understand it properly

: Operator punchit is normally punched to check the further strength in that

stock for intraday.
Lets see some observationsno technical
: Example
: Xxx9.9x
Xxx8.8x
Xxx7.7x
: X can be any figure
: If such prices at near highs side then sell with very very small SL (intraday only)
If such prices at near lows then buy with very very small SL (intraday only)
: to be booked part as per comfort and then hold remaining with SL

Some other observation

As long as the entity trades below todays open price and prev day close price
then intraday negative momentum is seen
As long as the entity trades above todays open price and prev day close price
then intraday positive momentum is seen

Check NF PIVOT 8213so trading below NF 8213 was weak and so made low 8136
in intraday

: If LTP is above PIVOT for 5-10 min then remain long with trailing SL-below ATP .
if LTP is below PIVOT for 5-10 min then remain long with trailing SL-above ATP

We are nearing to the end of session
