I meet with the manager of Amhara Mass Media Agency
Mr.Teshome.
The Amhara Mass Media Agency Managers arranged in Groups
the internship students.
Mr.Teshom introduce me with ICT staff Mr.Tamir, Mr.Suleman,
Mr.Lieon and Mrs. Ethiopia.
Mr.Tamir told me the rules of the Company.
Mr.Tamir told me the basic information of the Company.
I know the history of the company.
I know the values and principles of the company.

Abstract
Amhara Mass Media Agency is a broadcasting station which is a television
and radio service provider in Amhara region. In this company there are many
computers and other communication devices which are connected by
network.
So the first internship month know more and in detail about computer
maintenance and computer networking in a company. In each week I was
trying to see different types of problems arise from networking and
computer failure.

I have seen Network cable crimping and network cable type.

Abstract
For this week I have more knowledge in server room, in this room there are
many materials.

Server rack it is used for store oslow, ephone, patch papal, Fiber optic
cable etc.
1.Fiber optic cable:-it is used for connected network from tell to
ephone.
2.Oslow:-it is used to ternsefer FM.
3.Ephone:-it is used to transfer network for each switch.

The building have 4 floor and the patch panel was designed by the
constructor and in each floors have a switch that is used to distribute
network in each computers.
In the ICT room I know more knowledge about the part of computer
hardware, if each parts of computer hardware are mother board, monitor,
mouse, keyboard and power cable they are used.

Abstract
In this week I have seen many device in motherboard and types of
Motherboard.
There are two types of motherboard:1. AT
2. ETX
The devices are: - power supply, sata data cable, ram, CPU, cemose battery,
expansion slot etc.
The function of each device are:1.Sata data cable:-it is transfer data from cd room drive to motherboard.
2.Cemose battery:-it is used to get and time adjust.
3.RAM: - it is stored temporary data.
4.CPU it is brain of the computer
The server room was well designed and it has AC air conditioner, security
camera (called BOSCH) which is used to control the whole building and
secured door.

Abstract
How internet come from telecommunication?
Internet comes from tele by using fibre optic cable and fibre optic cable
connected to ephon and ephone distributed network to each computer.
Network architecture means:In each floor have switch and internets connected to each ephon and ephons
are connected to getway and getways are distributes network to each switch
and each switches are distributes network for each computers.

The Company have four radio studio.
All devises in the Radio studios and server room has their own Application
software which is only designed to work with the specific task of each
devices.
In each studio there is an audio mixer (Axial), multi telephone, audio players,
display computer, wireless mouse and keyboard, CD player, speaker and
digital clock.

cable: It is used for connect to Ephone.
It is not flexible because the inner part of fiber optic
cable is glass.
Dont touch the tip of fiber optic cable.
