4. Why would you like to take part in the ICEO USA Summer Work /
Travel Program (ICEO Program) in the USA?
I want to take part in the ICEO USA Summer Work/Travel program because
this a real dream for me to visit the USA. I want to travel, to see a new
country, beautiful country, to visit the places, which I saw on TV only, to
meet new people, to feel how is to work in a foreign country and to improve
my English skills.

5. How would you describe the Summer Work Travel program (in general)?
This is a great opportunity to visit USA. It is one of my best wishes to travel and
to see the ocean, to speak English with native English speakers, to train myself
by working with them, to have some American activities, to join people while
singing karaoke, to cook for my colleagues some Moldavian dishes. This is one
of the best chances to grow and to visit USA.
6. What are your expectations of the ICEO Program?
I want to meet new people, to make new friends, with whom I could share my
ideas about my culture. Also, I want to visit the USA beautiful places, as New
York, Washington DC, Hollywood..

Yes.
14. Will you require any assistance from ICEO in locating suitable employment in the
USA?
Yes. Sure.
15. Are you aware of the types of jobs and employment allowed and not allowed
during the ICEO Program? (Provide candidate with explanation)
Yes. Not allowed in positions related to clinical care that involves patient
contact; In any position in the adult entertainment industry (including, but not
limited to jobs with escort services, adult book/video stores, and strip clubs); In
domestic help positions in private homes (e.g., child care, elder care, gardener,
chauffeur); In positions that are substantially commission-based and thus do not
guarantee that participants.

16. What are your plans for participating in the cultural activities during the ICEO
Program?
Attending concerts, visiting museums, visiting National Parks and Reservations, seeing
historical monuments, beautiful places, hanging out with American friends/coworkers.
Taking part from July, 7 parties and presentations. Going out with my friends .
16. If available, will you take part in ICEO organized cultural activities?
Yes, of course (if it is at the same place, the same city I live and work).
18. What are your plans for interacting with US citizens during the ICEO Program?

Attending local events, going to concerts, theatre, museums.

23. Do you have any friends or relatives in the US? (which State and how many

Yes. I am a volunteer, even if I do not get any money back. I volunteer for
"Concordia
Moldova", Chisinau, Moldova. I like to help people, especially children. I hope
everyone could make kids to smile.
25. What do you plan to do when you return to your home country after the

26. What do you think will be the greatest challenge while taking part in the ICEO
Program?
I think that the biggest challenge will be living too far from my parents, from my
relatives and friends. Also, I think that getting used to a new culture, to new
food will be a little hard from the very beginning for me, but I think I will handle
this.
