CONSTRUCTION REMINDERS

(AS OF NOVEMBER 17, 2014)


1.

Observe proper sequencing of works: installation of cornice must be done after completion of
installation of drywalls.

2.

Use long elbow for electrical lines and prevent workers from burning PVC conduit pipes.

3.

First in First out.


Always remind workers of the procedure, especially on withdrawing of cement from warehouse. Include
this on discussion of House Rules.

4.

Submission of Manpower is every 8am daily.

5.

Strict Implementation of No-Uniform; No Work policy for all construction workers.


Tuliao Red; Tektonik Blue, For new workers, allowed 1 week lead time to prepare his uniforms.

6.

New Specs for Plumbing Fixtures


Starts: CHP = Batch 67; CHP = Batch 34; VSL = Batch 19A

7.

Combination of Suspension Rod and Carrying Channel


Starts: CHP = Batch 68; CRP = Batch 34; VSL = Batch 22

8.

Replacement of Multi color door to QDE White paint for CHV SA 37.5 LIV and SA43.25 LIV

Masonry Putty for Interior walls and Acrytex Cast for Exterior wall

12. Submission of Reasons of Delay
Remove weather inclement and delayed delivery of materials since these causes are valid reasons for
application of time extensions (PE should be consistent in submitting valid time extension requests).
Sample reason is due to Lack of Manpower of contractor (based on actual observation).
8. Pointers Discussed by BBL:
As reminder, PE should monitor cleanliness of their respective project site, PE to call the attention of
TREND if needed.
PE should be more client-oriented especially those who have complain or issue with their units.
PE should gave importance on the task requested/assigned specifically by SLI head office personnel
(whether major /minor task).
In terms of deadlines, PE should be firm to deliver the assigned task on its committed deadline, should
exhaust all available resources. Inform BBL if commitment cannot be achieved.

9. Proper Allocation of Construction Materials


CHB and Aggregates- shall be place in front of the unit.
Reusable forms and lumber- shall be place at the rear side of the unit.
For Disposal items - shall be place on the side of the unit.
10. Materials Testing
Ensure the testing of samples for DRSB, CHB and Concrete Cylinders for every batch
Attach testing results to C.A. Liquidation.
11. Clearance prior to Contractor's billing
Attach the clearance slip for cleanliness during sending of accomplishment readings.
12. Accountability
Update accountability quarterly.
13. Installation of Laminated Flooring
Before advising the Purchasing, Make sure that the unit is ready for installation.
14. Proper monitoring of cement in the project (implemented)
Implement a record log-book for all incoming and out-going cement in the warehouse.
15. Issuance of job site memo for contractors (implemented)
Job site memo must be given to contractor if we noticed any findings, likewise see to it that the given
date of rectification duration must be followed.
Findings to be written in Tagalog to be clearly understand by the contractor.
16. Regular submission of time extension of the project.
Submission of time extension should be done monthly.
For delay on materials delivery issue, submit "Materials Delivery Follow-up form" for purchasing.
Form to be forwarded to office and Purch. Dept. to acknowledge then to return to HCD.
17. Guidelines in G.I. Scaffolding and H-frame issuance and monitoring
Use the form provided by IAD. Request SSS to produce xerox for the mentioned form.
Conduct a monthly inventory of G.I. Scaffolding and H-frame.
18. Receiving of Aggregates.
Authorized receiver of aggregates must be instructed to check the depth of the aggregates before
unloading, likewise also check the actual length and width of the delivery truck used.
19. Installation of 1 1/2" border frame for CR manhole
All unit should have a 1 1/2" border frame for CR manhole
20. Specification of Light Bulbs.
All light bulbs to be installed in amenities should conform to the specification given by the
Architectural dept.

21. Inspection of Vehicles


All contractors vehicle will be subjected for inspection (In/Out)
22. Follow-up Transactions. Elevate to BBL for situations that cannot handle by PE
