Gareth OReilly announces

changes to the Pacific
Executive team
I would like to share with you a
number of changes that I am making
to the Pacific Executive Team.

LeDon replaces Paul Grace who will

move to a new opportunity, to be
announced at a later time.

These changes are designed to

leverage the strengths of the team
members, align to the successful
execution of our strategy for 2016
and beyond, and support
commercial transformation in the
Pacific to drive growth.

LeDon brings to the role significant

experience with Schneider Electric
gained in the USA, Asia and the
Pacific. He moves to the role after
three years as the lead for the GSC
Pacific Products organisation. In that
role, LeDon has worked closely with
the commercial teams to tailor our
supply chain and deliver solutions
that have improved the experience
for our customers.

The first change Id like to share is a

change in leadership for our
Customer Satisfaction and Quality
function. Shaping Schneider Electric
in the Pacific to be more customercentric is a key priority for us. The
experience our customers have with
us in every interaction needs to be
effortless and memorable.
To support this priority, we will
be rebranding the CS&Q team
and creating the Customer
Experience team.
LeDon Brooks is appointed VicePresident, Customer Experience
Pacific reporting to me. LeDon will
remain based in Adelaide.

I would like to recognise and thank

Paul for his leadership of CS&Q over
the past three years. Under Pauls
leadership the CS&Q function in the
Pacific has been transformed. We
have mutualised the Customer Care
Centre teams, transitioned support
for back office functions to the
Philippines, deployed significant
process changes and best in class
tools and systems. LeDon and Paul
will be working closely together on the
transition over the coming weeks.

INSIDE ONE SOURCE

Please join me in congratulating
LeDon on his new role.
The second change Id like to share
with you is regarding Joe Craparotta.

Joe brings extensive organisation

and sales experience to the roles,
having worked in ITB, Industry and
Energy over the past eight years at
Schneider Electric.

Workplace of the Future

An important component of our

commercial transformation is a
prioritised focus on our strategic and
targeted customers. Over the past six
months we have been working on a
project to identify and understand the
potential of our key end user
customers. We have identified a
group of end user customers who
represent a significant opportunity for
growth for us across our full portfolio.

For the past three years, Joe has

been leading the Energy business in
Australia. Joes passion for customers
and sales has been evidenced in the
number of project wins the Energy
team have had over this time. I would
like to thank Joe for his leadership
of Energy.

We will be setting up a Strategic

Customers and Segments team
dedicated to this group of end users.

I will be the interim VP Energy until we

appoint a replacement for Joe.

Rob Hart

I am looking forward to sharing more

detail on our 2020 strategy and
commercial transformation during a
national Road Show in late November/
early December.

AMEX ESS DEADLINES

I am appointing Joe Craparotta into a

dual role as VP IT Australia and VP
Strategic Customers and Segments,
reporting to me. This change will be
effective immediately.
In this role, Joe will be responsible for
leading the IT Business in Australia,
with shared accountability to Pankaj
Sharma, VP ITB Asia Pacific and
Japan. In addition, Joe will establish
and lead the new strategic accounts
team, delivering growth from these
strategic end users across the entire
Schneider Electric portfolio.

Please join me in congratulating Joe

on his new role.

Exec team changes

Workplace of the Future

Back in July, IPO announced one of

the most significant transformations
to occur in Schneider Electric for
many years - the rollout of Workplace
of the Future.

The pilot will be restricted to North

America running through Q2 2016.

As a reminder, Workplace of the

Future (WSTF) encompasses three
major elements:

AsiaPac will be last to migrate,

scheduled for Q1 2017.

Outlook will replace Lotus

Notes email.
Skype for Business will replace
Webex and Sametime for
conferencing, screen sharing
and chat.
Office 365 Pro will deliver latest
versions, on-demand, of Word,
Excel and PowerPoint working
across multiple device platforms.

Llama superstar
IPO is all ears

After the pilot, migrations will start

with NAM and Europe.

Whilst this is a long time to wait and

disappointing in some respects, we
will benefit from the learnings of
other zones so we should expect a
painless transition!
For more information, check out the
summary presentation here and
follow Spice subject: Workspace of
the Future - Unified Communication
for regular updates.

So, where are things at?

Planning is underway to begin the
first pilot, which will involve selected
existing Outlook employees and
some Notes employees.

News in brief

JPT takes a closer look

at Do More
The JPT Look On video series
continues to approach, one by one,
our company programs initiatives. In
this episode, our Chairman and CEO
takes a closer look at Do More, and
more specifically at Consistent
Project Execution.
Currently, projects and equipments
account for roughly 20% of our
turnover. While this type of business
has developed over the last few
years, we need to increase our
profitability in this area while meeting
our customers expectations.

To deliver on this objective, in the

frames of Schneider Is On, under the
Do More initiative, the Consistent
Project Execution program aims at
building an integrated network of
execution centres to improve the
performance and the overall
customer experience and
satisfaction, no matter where they
are in the world.
JPT takes us through the
different models and ways of
working together to deliver on
these expectations.

Associate Business Partner trial

IPO is all ears

We know surveys are pretty tedious

and it always seems like only
yesterday you completed the last
one, but they are valuable and
despite what you might think, we
do listen!

Selected on-site support employees

will take on some BP related
activities. This trial is aimed to
enhance the IPO-Business
relationship at sites with no
BP representation.

New POR module

Some things we cant change, but we

think hard about what we can do to
make a difference.
Here are some planned initiatives that
go to addressing some of the
feedback we receive through the
bi-annual Satisfaction Survey.
Level 1 Helpdesk Internship
to Australia.
We will host an intern selected from
Bangalore level 1 support employees.
Interns will learn about our business,
processes, people, needs and
priorities and take these learnings
back to India.

Walk-up support analysis

Many employees still bypass 2929,
walking up to IPO offices for general
help. By performing root cause
analysis we hope to improve
adoption of the 2929 process.
Managing the Expectation
During Learning Week we will host
sessions explaining the 2929 global
support model, service level
agreements and associated
processes. We aim to raise
awareness of the rationale and
strategy behind these processes to
better align user expectations.
