IT Support Specialist

Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd.


Cai Mep International Terminal Co., Ltd. was established on January 26, 2007 as a joint
venture between the Vietnam--based
based Saigon Port, Vietnam National Shipping Lines and
APM Terminals BV. CMIT has been operating a large-scale,
scale, modern container terminal
facility which is able to cater to large main line container vessels since March 2011
2011.
The terminal is located strategically on the Cai Mep River in Ba Ria-Vung
Ria Vung Tau Province,
about 80 Kms from Ho Chi Minh City, offers
offer its customers state-of-the-art

handling and IT equipment.
Providing a safe, secure and efficient cargo and vessel operation is of utmost importance
to CMIT as this will enable local importers and exporters efficient and reliable

connectivity with the global markets.
The 600 meters of berth will be equipped with 6 super post-Panamax
Panamax gantry cranes
which together with the RTG--based
based yard operation will allow for an annual handling
capacity of over 1.1 million TEUs.

competent and experienced IT Suppor
Support Specialist.
Tasks:
This position reports to IT Assistant Manager, Business System & Support and will be
based in Tan Thanh district, Ba Ria-Vung
Ria
Tau province (Cai Mep). The IT Support
Specialist will

Provide the 1st level support for the Infrastructure and Network & Business
systems Environment of CMIT.

Plan, monitor
onitor and administrate the day to day the IT Helpdesk operations,
business systems network and voice operations of the terminal in a complex
infrastructural environment.

Actively participate in
n the troubleshooting & problem solving process for all raised
issues by the terminal users. Contribute to the deliveries of the IT support &
services within agreed SLA.

Demonstrate a cost conscious mindset in order to sustain the competitive


advantage, in order to meet IT service level and Cost Efficiency.

Therefore CMIT seeks outgoing and strong candidates with high sense of responsibility
and good interpersonal skills. The candidate must be analytical, customer orientated and
able to work well within a team.

College or University degree in computer science or related discipline.

At least 1 year of experience in client
