False Prophet(s) Check List

Identifying Signs based upon Bible Truth!

Author Frank Nic. Bazsika 2010 ©

1John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits
whether they are of (GOD): because many false prophets are gone
out into the world. [RNKJV] If you are a disciple (student) of Jesus
Christ,-the Messiah Elohim The Eternal,-and want to be in His soon
coming Kingdom with a position of Rulership then you cannot allow
any man to lead you astray! Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil
you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after
the rudiments of the world, and not after the Messiah. [RNKJV]

Most people are born into their religion and are steeped in
traditions handed down to them from generation to generation. They
take for granted that what was taught them is true and plod through life
never investigating their own beliefs. But then there are some that at
some point in their lives realize that something is missing and they
‘stumble’ on the Bible and begin to read and study it. And in some
instances it is these people God is calling. And if He is calling you,-how
can you be sure that you are not being deceived by some church or
man?

First you must acknowledge that the entire Bible is the living
Word of God,-it is the very mind of God! You cannot accept portions of
the Bible,-such as only the New Testament while throwing out the Old
Testament,-from Genesis to Revelation, God explains Himself to you,
His Plan and what He requires of you!

1
You must allow the Bible to correct you. If the Word of God
shows you that you have some error in your life then you must replace
that error with new found Truth and be willing to change. Who can
have a good understanding of the Bible?-

Psalm 111:10 The fear of (GOD, The Eternal) is the beginning of

wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. [RNKJV]. If some ‘teacher’ tells you
something that he claims is in the Bible, what should you do? Acts 17:11
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received
the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily,
whether those things were so. [RNKJV] And how does the Bible lay out a
teaching on a particular subject?- Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon
precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little,
and there a little: Isaiah 28:13 But the word of (GOD, The Eternal)
was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line,
line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall
backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. [RNKJV] Notice here
that those who do not put all scriptures together are snared and taken!

In the above quoted scriptures of the Bible we arrive at three

pivotal points that are necessary to understanding the Bible; 1) A good
understanding comes from obeying God,-keeping His commandments
and what He reveals to you! 2) Studying and searching the scriptures as
the 1st century converts did to prove what is true! 3) Coming to
understand that you must learn to put together everything that the Bible
says on a particular subject to obtain the entire picture; a little here and
a little there throughout the Bible. Do not exclude scripture that may
contradict your pet idea! Do not take out of context the flow of a
particular teaching,-allow the Bible to interpret the Bible! Read the
verses prior to your study point and the verses following,-the context,-to
get the flow of the subject.

Some good study ‘tools’ to have would be a Bible Lexicon, such as

‘Strong’s’ and a Concordance book (‘Strong’s’ also combines a lexicon
with a concordance). A Bible Dictionary such as Unger’s or Smiths. And
a Bible containing both Old and New Testaments. I use the Jewish
Publication Society for the Old Testament and Moffatt’s translation for
the New Testament,-but my basic Bible is the Kings James edition and
most study research books deal with the King James Bible.

2
Now if you read the Olivet prophecy contained in Mathew 24,
Luke 21 and Mark 13,-you will see that Christ warned His disciples and
His followers of the End Times about false prophets and ministers that
would be attached to the label of Christianity but they would be
teaching a false Christianity! (see my work on the Olivet Prophecy)
These false ministers would claim to be Christian but would teach
contrary to the Word of God! They would appear as angels of light, but-
would be; 2Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is
transformed into an angel of light. [RNKJV] Do you see who they really
work for,-whom they represent? And who is deceived? - Revelation 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and
Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth,
and his angels were cast out with him.[RNKJV] Yes, Satan and his
demons deceive the WHOLE world so says your Bible! Not a minority
but the majority are deceived! Only those Christ and The Father jointly
call and open the minds of can come out of deception.

God is NOT trying to save the majority of mankind at this time

but has a Plan and a time sequence of salvation for everyone. Everyone
will have a chance in due course. God,-Elohim The Eternal Jesus Christ
is the God of the living and the dead; He can resurrect someone at a
later time and give them life and that chance to enter His eternal
Kingdom. But if He is giving you that chance now and you are trying to
follow Him and His Way of Life,-can you afford to waste precious time
on false prophets? NO!

I have put together here a ‘check list’ of sorts that you may
consider and reflect upon in ascertaining if a particular man or group
are in fact working for Christ or for the other ‘guy’ and themselves!
They are in no particular sequential order of importance but they are
all based upon Biblical understanding. And if you feel offended and
maybe feel that your personal beliefs or religion is disparaged,-you
should put away emotions and study to see what the Truth actually is!
My writings are not intended to attack anyone but to direct others to
seeking what is Truth so they can be free of fabrications of men.

memorial or is it something they do each SUNday?
35) Do they teach that we are to live by EVERY Word of God?

5
The above is listed to give you thought. The list could include
much more! But these are some of the pivotal points to consider in
weeding out false prophets. I conclude with the following
scriptural quotes;-

Hosea 4:1 Hear the word of , ye children of Israel: for hath a

controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor
mercy, nor knowledge of Elohim in the land.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye
will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the
truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he
speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. [RNKJV both]

The land lacks true knowledge of (GOD) and would rather believe
in the lies of the devil whose goal is to murder them from God’s Plan!

Beware the ministers of Baal!
