Student Info:
She is a 16-year-old girl that is currently studying high school in Guangdong
but she is now preparing to transfer high school in Bradshaw Christian High
School in Sacramento, California, USA.

General Comment:
In this lesson, Kelly is very eager to learn new vocabularies and she is fun of
asking questions if she wants to clear up something or know more
information about a certain vocabulary word. During this lesson, she is
performing well on the tongue twisters and also good in comprehending the
story that we have discussed.
Strengths:
She is good in coping up in understanding new and unfamiliar vocabularies
and she is a fast learner. She is good in asking questions and always starts a
good conversation regarding her interests and hobbies.
Weaknesses:
She sometimes hesitates to pronounce unfamiliar vocabularies and tends to
keep silent for a moment. She is also not giving specific ideas whenever she
was asked to answer Why and How questions. She good in reading
comprehension but when there is unfamiliar vocabulary words she tends to
understanding a certain statement or phrase differently.
Recommended Lesson:
Since Kelly is preparing to study in the United States, She needs to prepare
with her interview in the US embassy or consulate in getting her Form I-20 or

"Certificate of Eligibility for Non-immigrant Status. This form is needed so that she
can receive an F1- Student Visa when she arrives in the United States. In
preparation for her interview, I have a set of commonly ask questions for applying
this Form I-20. These questions will help her prepare and pass the application and
for her to feel more comfortable in answering the questions when she will be at the
embassy or consulate.
Also, since Kelly will be studying in Bradshaw Christian High School, she needs to
prepare her admission to the school. These are the following steps for the process of
admission:
Step 1: Schedule Tour
Step 2: Complete Application Forms
Complete all forms in application packet (received at time of tour) and submit to
appropriate school office. *
Step 3: Pre-enrolment testing
Schedule and complete pre-enrolment grade level testing.
Step 4: Interview
Once all of the above steps have been completed and reviewed, we will contact you to
schedule an interview if necessary. For middle and high school students, the student must
attend the interview with his/her parents/guardian.
Step 5: Notification of Admission
You will be notified of your admission status within 3 business days after all requirements
have been met. **
Successful Admission- student has successfully completed all aspects of admission and is
secured in their enrolment.
Probationary Admission- student has deficiencies in academic performance, school
attendance, emotional stability or behaviour. Teachers and administration will monitor
students performance. Admission is provisional.
Denial of Admission- students past academic, behavioural, emotional, or attendance
patterns prevents admission to BCS.

In line with this, Kelly needs to prepare in the Pre-enrolment Testing and the
Interview. In regards with the Pre-enrolment testing she needs to prepare for it and I
have prepared some sample high school admission tests that will be very useful for
her to be familiar in understanding the type of test she will be taking and to be
familiar with it. Regarding the interview for admission, I can help her to practice by
conducting a mock interview that will help her to be more comfortable in answering
the questions during the interview.
