Group Technology and Operations
What is Group Technology and Operations?
Our Group Technology and Operations (GTO) business makes the delivery of our banking operations
possible.
Across our global footprint, we provide processes, technology and project management skills to support the
Banks 95,000 employees. Our employees use 1,000 different systems and require user support across 85
countries. GTO is the engine of the bank.
What would a year on our GTO Fast Track Programme look like?

Your work will ensure you get hands on experience across the breadth of operations. The work
that you will do will have a direct impact on our projects.
You will have the opportunity to learn directly from our people

Commercial Clients International Graduate Programme
What is Commercial Clients?
Commercial Clients provides solutions for companies during one of their most exciting phases; the critical
growth transition from a small business to an entry level corporate. These can be entrepreneurs and local
businesses on one end of the spectrum to mature or fast growing middle market companies at the other,
most who have expanded internationally. Our team helps them facilitate trade with their buyers and
suppliers, manage their working capital and transactional needs, assist them in managing volatility
(currency, commodity prices, interest rates), as well as provide markets and corporate finance solutions
when their needs become more complex.

Drive client loan/trade utilisation and expand existing client relationships through pro-active contact
and strategic planning
Partner with Relationship Managers on structuring client transactions
Work directly with new clients on need analysis and service requests
Liaise with clients to manage the documentation and client due diligence (CDD) process

Our programme is designed to set you up for success in your first full time role in Commercial Clients. You
might end up in one of our local, regional or global team. You might find an amazing role in Pakistan or
your first role may include an international move.

Wealth Management International Graduate Programme
What is Wealth Management?
Our Wealth Management teams use a comprehensive range of products and solutions to help our clients
grow and protect their wealth. To do this, we also work with partners such as asset management firms and
insurance companies.
Our Clients: Our Wealth Management services cater to the needs of different types of clients from
individuals to small business and corporate clients.
Our Teams: We also have teams of Investment Advisors, Insurance Specialists and Treasury Specialists,
in-country who interact with clients and Relationship Managers to provide expert insights on global markets
and advice to clients.

Banking is an exciting and dynamic industry. In your first year you will be given the broadest possible
exposure our business. You will have the opportunity to undertake hands-on assignments in:

A product team, working in Investments, Insurance or Capital Markets. You will participate in
assessing which mutual funds or insurance solutions are appropriate for our clients.

The Investment Advisory team monitor the global markets and provide market outlook for our
Relationship teams and clients. You could assist a senior colleague in the production of market
reports and experience how these reports help clients make more informed decisions on their
investment portfolios.

Our Wealth Client proposition team looks at how we package and present our wealth management
propositions to clients. Here, you will have the opportunity to use analytics to understand client
behaviours and formulate a contact plan to reach out to clients with appropriate solutions or
proposition.

At the end of the programme what will our opportunities be?


The Wealth Management stream is the newest addition to our International Graduate Programme.
Below are some of the roles Wealth Management will offer International Graduates at the end of their one
year on the International Graduate Programme.

What are the application requirements for our Graduate Programme?

Masters degree is preferable for our International Graduate Programme and Human Resources

The legal right to work in the country that you are applying to
Business level English (the ability to speak more than one language will be highly regarded)
