February 20, 2016 (Saturday).

My FAQs:
1. What have I contributed towards the profession?
a) Free Service Tax& GST Helpdesk at my mobile number +91-9888090-008.
b) Daily updates on Service Tax and GST on PAN India basis to all the
Chartered Accountants free of cost. 100 such updates have already
been sent and it is still continuing.
c) Conducted Seminars/Conferences on Service Tax and GST at various
platforms for the professional development of my co-members.
d) Launched free Service Tax Update E-Journal which shall be available
online on 20th of every month.
e) Will be releasing A Handbook on GST very soon.
f) Provided free Guidance & Counselling for the upcoming Chartered
Accountants.
g) Raised various issues in the interest of the profession such as
Rectification of Wrong Sign Board of our Institute at ITO Metro
station at New Delhi.
2. What I aim to contribute to the profession?
a) To uplift the profession as a whole and ensure that all the Chartered
Accountants in the tri-city achieve professional acumenshipso that
they cherish their profession to the maximum.
3. What is my agenda for Chandigarh Branch of ICAI?
a) To make Chandigarh Branch a platform for all the Chartered
Accountants to explore their profession and share their views and
knowledge with their co-members.

b) Make Chandigarh Branch a reception for all the members, be it

seniors or freshers by providing them with the equal opportunities
to use this platform in best possible manner to take themselves as
well profession to greater heights.
c) To Bring Transparency and increase the involvement of the
members in the working of the Chandigarh Branch and introducing
a half yearly discussion meet where the members would have rights
to interact and raise queries the executive committee about the
working of the Branch.
d) Introducing an Annual Award function at Chandigarh Level for the
members wherein we would show our gratitude and honour the
professionals doing excellent work in their profession. The selections
would be made by jury without any fear and favour. This would
enhance and motivate us to remain committed to the quality work
we are doing.
e) Develop our co-members in terms of speaking skills by giving the
opportunity to all the members to become part of the
seminars/conferences on rotation basis.
f) Involve Chandigarh Branch actively by sending the representations
and discussion papers at various platforms on PAN India basis.
g) Formation of Study Groups and also provide them proper
infrastructure to carry out their activities and taking their
representation to the higher authorities.
Respected Member, If you really feel that my vision and contribution
will sincerely take the profession to greater heights, do cast 1 st preference
vote in my favour at the forthcoming elections on February 20, 2016
(Saturday).
