Thanks to Super Bowl MVP Von Miller and the Orange Rush,
Peyton Manning can go out on top.
Miller had 2 12 sacks and forced Cam Newton to fumble twice
as the Broncos beat the Panthers 24-10 to win the franchises
third Super Bowl title Sunday night.
Newton, the NFL MVP, was harassed by Denvers smothering, top-ranked defense all game. He was visibly frustrated after throwing an interception and slammed his hand on the turf
when a referee didnt call a late hit in the fourth.
The victory was Mannings 200th career win and second
Super Bowl championship. He became the first quarterback to
win an NFL title with two teams.

HAMPTON, NEW HAMPSHIRE - There was a time

Chris Christie tried to establish himself as the thinking
Republicans alternative to Donald Trump.
Forget that.
The old Christie has returned, just as brash and
puffed-up as Trump can be, showing up in the race for
the GOP presidential nomination just in time to bloody
Marco Rubio before New Hampshire holds the nations
first-in-the-nation primary.
Rubio, a U.S. senator from Florida, was in line for a
top-tier finish on Tuesday. Now, who knows?
Christie went Jersey on Rubio at the GOP debate
Saturday night, attacking with the punching skills he
perfected back home in dialed-up town hall arguments
with the likes of teachers concerned with education
cuts, a former Navy SEAL and people upset with the
slow pace of superstorm Sandy recovery efforts.
Pressured by the New Jersey governor at the debate
on his lack of experience, a rattled Rubio pivoted four
times to a rehearsed line about President Barack Obama, creating a viral moment.
Rubio looked terrible. He usually looks great but
that was the first time he was challenged, said Michael
DuHaime, Christies chief political strategist. Rubio
looked great in the debates when there were 11 people
on the stage and he could give a 60-second speech, then
he could take 10 minutes off, then give another 60-second speech.
But there was no hiding this time for Rubio, with
only seven candidates on stage, and Christie determined to kneecap someone, anyone, after a dismal
showing in last weeks Iowa caucuses.
There was a new wrinkle in Christies attack, said
Matthew Hale, a Seton Hall University political science
professor.
The old Christie took people on with a bombardment at high volume and would keep yelling until the
other side gave up, Hale said. Christie carefully laid a
rhetorical rope for Rubio and Marco hung himself. He
tricked Rubio into responding like a robot when faced
with being attacked as a robot. This wasnt a Christie
bombardment, it was a surgical strike.
