Knowledge Discovery Using Associative Classification for Disease Prediction

Description

Associate classification is a scientific study that is being used by knowledge discovery and
decision support system which integrates association rule discovery methods and
classification to a model for prediction. An important advantage of these classification
systems is that, using association rule mining they are able to examine several features at a
time. Associative classifiers are especially fit to applications where the model may assist
the domain experts in their decisions.

Graph Based Approach for Disease Prediction
Weighted association rule mining is the most useful data mining technique.
Weighted association rules are association rules with weights or strength of
presence. As data mining techniques are being introduced and widely
applied to nontraditional item sets, existing approaches for finding frequent item
sets were out of data as they cannot satisfy the requirement of these domains.
Hence, an alternative method of modeling the objects in the said data set is
graph. Graph based algorithms efficiently solve the problem of mining association
rules

An Evolutionary Algorithm for Disease Prediction

Description

Data mining have found numerous applications in Business and Scientific

domains. Association rules, classification, clustering are major areas of interest in
data mining. Among these, association rules have been a very active research
area. Genetic algorithms are used to perform a global search and cope better with
attribute interaction than the greedy rule induction algorithms often used in Data

SECURITY SYSTEM FOR DNS

Description

The mapping or binding of IP addresses to host names became a major problem in the
rapidly growing Internet and the higher level binding effort went through different stages
of development up to the currently used Domain Name System (DNS). The DNS Security is
designed to provide security by combining the concept of both the Digital Signature and
Asymmetric key (Public key) Cryptography. Here the Public key is send instead of Private
key. The DNS security uses Message Digest Algorithm to compress the Message(text file)
and PRNG(Pseudo Random Number Generator) Algorithm for generating Public and
Private key. The message combines with the Private key to form a Signature using DSA
Algorithm, which is send along with the Public key. The receiver uses the Public key and
DSA Algorithm to form a Signature. If this Signature matches with the Signature of the
message received, the message is Decrypted and read else discarded.

Computerizing College admission process for higher education courses.

Basic objectives are to extend their reach to geographically scattered students,
reducing time in activities, centralized data handling and paperless admission with
reduced manpower. Cost cutting, operational efficiency, consist view of data and
integration with other institutions are other factors. Main challenges are
effectively sync internal and external operations in such a manner that job can be
finished within time limit and integration with different agencies on an agreed
upon common data format.

Vehicle Tracking System

Description

This Project is proposed to design an embedded system which is used for tracking and
positioning of any vehicle by using Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global system for
mobile communication (GSM).In this project 8051 microcontroller is used for interfacing
to various hardware peripherals. The current design is an embedded application, which
will continuously monitor a moving Vehicle and report the status of the Vehicle on
demand. For doing so an 8051 microcontroller is interfaced serially to a GSM Modem and
GPS Receiver. A GSM modem is used to send the position (Latitude and Longitude) of the
vehicle from a remote place. The GPS modem will continuously give the data i.e. the
latitude and longitude indicating the position of the vehicle. The GPS modem gives many
parameters as the output, but only the Location Data(latitude and longitude) coming out
is read. The same data is sent to the mobile at the other end from where the position of
the vehicle is demanded. The programming of 8051 is done in C-language using KEIL
Compiler. As 8051 has only one serial port , for interfacing both GSM Modem and GPS
Receiver, we have to use Analog Switches( or a relay kind of mechanism).

AMES-Cloud: A Framework of Adaptive Mobile Video Streaming and Efficient
Social Video Sharing in the Clouds
We propose an adaptive mobile video streaming and sharing framework, called
AMES-Cloud, which efficiently stores videos in the clouds (VC), and utilizes cloud
computing to construct private agent (subVC) for each mobile user to try to offer
non-terminating video streaming adapting to the fluctuation of link quality
based on the Scalable Video Coding technique. Also AMES-Cloud can further seek
to provide non buffering experience of video streaming by background pushing
functions among the VB, sub VBs and local VB of mobile users. We evaluated the
AMES-Cloud by prototype implementation and shows that the cloud computing
technique brings significant improvement on the adaptively of the mobile
streaming. We ignored the cost of encoding workload in the cloud while
implementing the prototype.

Packet-Hiding Methods for Preventing Selective Jamming Attacks.

Description

Hardware/Equip.
Requirements
Software
Requirements
Project Activity

The open nature of the wireless medium leaves it vulnerable to intentional

interference attacks, typically referred to as jamming. This intentional
interference with wireless transmissions can be used as a launch pad for
mounting Denial-of-Service attacks on wireless networks. Typically, jamming has
been addressed under an external threat model. However, adversaries with
internal knowledge of protocol specifications and network secrets can launch loweffort jamming attacks that are difficult to detect and counter. In this work, we
address the problem of selective jamming attacks in wireless networks. In these
attacks, the adversary is active only for a short period of time, selectively
targeting messages of high importance.

Project Activity

Providing quality of service (QOS) in a mobile ad hoc network is a challenging task

due to its peculiar characteristics. This proposed system aims at presenting a
routing protocol which identifies data volume to be sent, based on the data
volume the route selected. If large volume of data wants to sent then the routing
protocol consider the multiple node-disjoint paths are examined for satisfying
QOS in terms of end-to-end delay and window-based measurements of channel
estimation is performed. If small volume of data want to sent the routing protocol
consider end to end delay only. In this Proposed system analyze the data volume
and end-to-end delay along the paths taking into account the IEEE 802.11
