Shivaji Park is a public park situated in Dadar, Mumbai. It is the largest park in the island city.

Like the Azad Maidan and August Kranti Maidan , it is of historical and cultural value because of
the political and social gatherings it has witnessed, both in pre- and post-independence Mumbai.
The 112,937 square metres (27.907 acres) open space is renowned as the cradle of Indian
cricket.
The open ground or Maidan is flanked around its edge by a katta, a simple continuous low kerb
edging that forms a makeshift seat, a popular hangout for young and old alike. The paved
walkway around this perimeter is crowded with people taking walks. The inner circumference of
the park is 1.17 kilometres (0.73 mile). The maidan covers 112,937 square metres (27.907
acres), more than half of which is occupied by 31 tenants, the largest being clubs like the Shivaji
Park Gymkhana, and the Bengal Club. The remaining part of the ground and open spaces are
available to the public for sports and other activities.
The area surrounding the park has many buildings dating back to the mid-1900s, and the Shivaji
Park Residential Zone is some of the more sought-after and expensive real estate in Mumbai.
This predominantly Marathi neighbourhood is home to many well-known personalities from
literature, theatre, commerce and sports.
Lighting design:

Acrylic light design: 2D LED light with 3D wife-frame images carved onto 5mm-thick
acrylic glass in such a way as to create the optical illusion of depth. The glass can be
swapped out in order to change the patterns. The changeable design is made from acrylic
glass sheet and the base is made of plywood birch. The light is LED, giving it a lifespan of 50,000
hours.
Hologram light effect: Of all the advanced technologies used in our LED grow light the most unique is the
holographic optical system. This smart 3-part optic is the first truly homogenous and variable light distribution
technology for the LED grow light industry.
The first 2 stages of the optical system take the LED light and collimate it into a narrow beam, focussed at
infinity with little divergence.
This light is then delivered into the 3rd stage, a holographic diffusion optic which is comprised of an optical grade
polycarbonate with a micro structured surface which acts as if covered with millions of tiny micro lenses. These
blend the different light wavelengths together and also remove any illumination hot spots, projecting a light field
with perfectly even intensity from centre to edge.
The 3-part combination of the Rebel optics, Ledil optics and holographic diffusion system combine to give superb
synergy. Despite using a complex multistage optical solution the the throughput of light remains incredibly high
and results in an optical system that provides unsurpassed distribution control and delivery of light.

Oled lighting:

OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diodes) are light emitting panels made from organic (carbon
based) materials that emit light when electricity is applied. OLED are used today to make
beautiful and efficient displays and large lighting panels.
OLED is the only technology that can create large "area" lighting panels (as opposed to point or
line lighting enabled by LEDs and Fluorescent bulbs). OLEDs can be used to
make flexible and transparent panels, and can also be color-tunable. OLEDs emit beautiful soft
diffused light - in fact OLEDs lighting is the closest light source to natural light (with the exception
of the old incandescent lamps).
