Damascus,sothatifhefound
anywhobelongedtotheWay,
menorwomen,hemightbring
themboundtoJerusalem.3
Nowashewasgoingalongand
approachingDamascus,
suddenlyalightfromheaven
flashedaroundhim.4Hefellto
thegroundandheardavoice
sayingtohim,Saul,Saul,why
doyoupersecuteme?5He
asked,Whoareyou,Lord?The
replycame,IamJesus,whom
youarepersecuting.6Butget
upandenterthecity,andyouwill

Themenwhoweretravelingwith
himstoodspeechlessbecause
theyheardthevoicebutsawno
one.8Saulgotupfromthe
ground,andthoughhiseyes
wereopen,hecouldseenothing
sotheyledhimbythehandand
broughthimintoDamascus.9
Forthreedayshewaswithout
sight,andneitheratenordrank.

brothersinDamascus,andI
wentthereinordertobindthose
whowerethereandtobring
thembacktoJerusalemfor
punishment.

Lordanswered,IamJesus

Butgetupandstandonyour
feetforIhaveappearedtoyou
forthispurpose,toappointyouto
serveandtestifytothethingsin
whichyouhaveseenmeandto
thoseinwhichIwillappearto
you.17Iwillrescueyoufrom
yourpeopleandfromthe
GentilestowhomIamsending
you18toopentheireyessothat
theymayturnfromdarknessto
lightandfromthepowerofSatan
toGod,sothattheymayreceive
forgivenessofsinsandaplace
amongthosewhoaresanctified
byfaithinme.

chosentobringmynamebefore
Gentilesandkingsandbefore

17SoAnaniaswentandentered
thehouse.Helaidhishandson
Saulandsaid,BrotherSaul,the
LordJesus,whoappearedtoyou
onyourwayhere,hassentme
sothatyoumayregainyoursight
andbefilledwiththeHolySpirit.
18Andimmediatelysomething
likescalesfellfromhiseyes,and
hissightwasrestored.Thenhe
gotupandwasbaptized,19and
aftertakingsomefood,he
regainedhisstrength.

regainedmysightandsawhim.
14Thenhesaid,TheGodofour
ancestorshaschosenyouto
knowhiswill,toseethe
RighteousOneandtohearhis
ownvoice15foryouwillbehis
witnesstoalltheworldofwhat
youhaveseenandheard.16
Andnowwhydoyoudelay?Get
up,bebaptized,andhaveyour
sinswashedaway,callingonhis
name.

Acts22:17AfterIhadreturned
toJerusalemandwhileIwas
prayinginthetemple,Ifellintoa
trance18andsawJesussaying
tome,Hurryandgetoutof
Jerusalemquickly,becausethey
willnotacceptyourtestimony
aboutme.19AndIsaid,Lord,
theythemselvesknowthatin
everysynagogueIimprisoned
andbeatthosewhobelievedin
you.20Andwhilethebloodof
yourwitnessStephenwasshed,
Imyselfwasstandingby,
approvingandkeepingthecoats
ofthosewhokilledhim.21Then
hesaidtome,Go,forIwillsend
youfarawaytotheGentiles.
