work. You must try and place the work into the correct level. Wherever possible you
should use a best fit model, this means that you take an overall view rather than

Summary Comment
Overall I would grade this magazine in the Level 3 Proficiency boundary as it has a lot of the
elements present that make a good magazine and is very suited to both the chosen music
genre it is and the target market.

I was correct in the marking of this magazine which tells me that although it may not have a
good look at first glance, I can notice that it had the elements that the exam board required.

Summary Comment
Overall I would put this magazine in the Basic boundary level as it could do with quite a
few improvements but does have potential.
This magazine was marked in the level 3 Proficiency boundary which tells me a lot of the
little things can really boost your marks and so helps me understand that I should include
these things to get the best mark possible.

Summary Comment
I would grade this magazine in the level 4 Excellent boundary as it looks almost like a
real magazine and has very good use of images.
This magazine was actually only a level 3 grade. From this I can take that, although the
magazine may appear to look very good, the overall look is not all that matters. So to get
higher marks I need to make sure that I do not just focus on the look of the magazine.

I was correct in the grading of this magazine which reassures me that I know what not to
