By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

Talk about how they spent their holidays

Write a dialogue talking about how they spent their holidays.
The students will be successful if by the end of the lesson, they are able to :
1) Describe how they spent their holidays.
2) Write a dialogue about how they spent their holidays.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
1) Students read the dialogue provided in the textbook aloud
2) Students answer questions about how did the characters in the dialogue
spent their holidays
3) Pair work: Students write a conversation talking about how they spent their
holidays by replacing the phrases in red into their own phrases and
sentences.
PLENARY:
1) Students perform a role play by using the dialogue
1) HOTS: Think of one word that describes their last school holidays and give a
reason why they choose the word.

1) Students brainstorm the activities they do in the morning, afternoon and
night.
2) Students write down sentences to describe their daily activities.
PLENARY
1) Students are asked to read their sentences aloud.
2) Students make corrections if there is any error in their sentences.
