AGREEMENT TO BE EXECUTED BY THE SURPLUS TEACHING STAFF OF


ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY APPOINTED IN GOVERNMENT ARTS AND SCIENCE
COLLEGES AND COLLEGES OF EDUCATION ON AGREEMENT BASIS
I, Dr. G.PALANIVEL., M.A., B.Ed., M.Phil., Ph.D., S/o K.GOVINDARAJU residing at
NO:4, KVK QUARTERS, VETERINARY COLLEGE CAMPUS, MOHANUR ROAD,
LADVADI, NAMAKKAL TK & DT, PIN- 637 002 permanently working at Annamalai
University as Assistant Professor in History and appointed temporarily on contract basis for
three years in Govt. Arts College(Men), Krishnagiri, college vide proceedings of the
Directorate of Collegiate Education in Na. ka No. 28403/D5/2015 dated 29.01.2015.
and
I, Dr.C.PERIASAMY ., M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., M.Ed., S/o CHINNAYAN Principal,
Govt. Arts College(Men), Krishnagiri -635 001, on behalf of Directorate of Collegiate
Education on this 02 day of February, 2016 hereby agree to the following terms and
conditions.
As witness our hands the day noted under our respective below.

The tenure of appointment of surplus teaching staff of Annamalai University as


Assistant Professor in Government Arts and Science Colleges and Colleges of
Education on agreement basis will be for a period of 3 years from the date of joining
in the respective colleges.

The surplus teaching staff of Annamalai University to be appointed in Government


Arts and Science Colleges and Colleges of Education shall have the qualifications
for the post of Assistant Professors.

The surplus teaching staff shall submit a physical fitness certificate obtained from
the registered medical practitioner at the time of joining in the college.

During the period of agreement, the surplus teaching staff are entitled to receive
their payment and other allowances in the pay band applicable to the post of
Assistant Professor in Government Arts and Science Colleges and Colleges of
Education with pay protection.

The Government have rights to appoint the surplus teaching staff of Annamalai
University in any of the Government Arts and Science Colleges and Colleges of
Education wherever the vacancy exists.

The Principals of Government Arts and Science Colleges and Colleges of Education
shall verify the certificates of educational qualifications of teaching staff of Annamalai
University before allowing them to join the college.

The pension and leave salary contribution and also contribution to the CPS for the
surplus teaching staff of Annamalai University (who has been appointed after
01.04.2003) during the agreement period shall be borne by the Government.

The surplus teaching staff appointed on agreement basis shall not be regarded as
the member of the service in which the post to which he has been appointed is
included and shall not be entitled by reason only of such appointment to any
preferential claim.

In respect of any matter in respect of which no provision has been made in the
agreement, the provision of General Rules of the Tamil Nade State and Subordinate
Service shall apply.

The Government have the rights to take disciplinary action against the staff for
irregularities or lapses committed by them as per rules in force.

The surplus teaching staff are eligible for 12 days causal leave per year as
applicable to the Government servants during the period of their agreement.

The teaching staff of Annamalai University appointed under this agreement shall not
indulge in any activities detrimental to the Government interest.

During the agreement period the surplus teaching staff should not request for
termination of agreement and reversion back to Annamalai University.

After the completion of tenure, they shall be reverted back to the Annamalai
University.

The period of service rendered in Government Arts and Science Colleges and
Colleges of Education by the surplus teaching staff of Annamalai University on
agreement basis shall be counted for service benefits.

The above written bond or obligation shall be valid and it shall remain in full force.
