TEXT:
Billy (and others),

Attached are our comments and changes. Essentially they are the
following:

Changed row labeled "EPA Forecasts" to "Alternative Reference Case".

For this case, we referenced currently available data: EIA for
energy-related C02, the Climate Action Report (National Communication)
for non-energy related C02 and the Adjustments, and EPA for
..' business-as-usual (BAU) non-C02 greenhouse gases. We interpolated
estimates consistent with your spreadsheet.

In the EIA Reference Case, changed the row labeled "Other Carbon and
GHGs" to "Other GHGs" since it seems that those projections do not
include the non-energy related C02.
It is also important to keep in mind that the data in the Climate Action
Report, the Inventory of US GHG Emissions and sinks, and in the EPA BAU

'10:ll/Q 009006
Page 2 of22

1 projections are all calculated using the required 100-yr global warming
'lpotentials. That is, those from the 1995 IPCC SAR.
