"Carbon"
The name "carbon" has been given as a generic name for a set of tools that
can be generated by various activities to reduce emissions. Thus, it can be said
that there are "several types" of carbon, depending on how they were
generated:
Bond transactions can range from a simple purchase or sell a specific amount
of bonds, to a structure of sale with several options. Some of the options are:
Spot purchases:
The price of the bond and the amount of bonds are agreed on the date of the
sale and purchase agreement but delivery and payment of the bonus is made
close at a future date. It can be considered as if the sale occurs at the time, but
spending a few days between payment and delivery. This is done to ensure a
satisfactory price for both parties and to reduce the risk that the bond is not
sold in the future.
Options:
The parties buy or sell the option (the right to decide) whether the sale is not
held or on a date and at a price agreed. Thus, the buyer has the right to buy
the amount of bonds offered by the seller, but has no obligation to buy once
the agreed arrival date. The terms of price, quantity and delivery date of the
bonds are agreed on drafting the contract, and a date that marks the deadline
for the buyer to maintain its right to purchase also remembers. In this case, the
seller is looking forward to and depends on the decision of the buyer, but if the
sale is made, the buyer will pay an extra amount called premium.
All operations of sale in the trade of carbon credits are governed by a contract
between the buyer and seller.
Since there are different schemes for trading in bonds and different places in
the world where you can buy and sell prices can be different for each ton of
CO2.
