1. Why is important for bussiness and professional students to develop good

communication ? explain
Answer:
For bussiness people and proffesional student important to develop

good

communication because communication is the key to success in our life, work, and
relationship. Without a good or effective communication, a messade tht will be deliver
can turn into error, miunderstanding and even disaster by being misinterpreted.
Communication will succesful only when both of sender and receiver understand the
same information. So, if the one from the sender or receiver still struggle the
communication cant build. For that reason, the inability to communicate will hold
them back not only in their careers but also in their personal and social relationship.
The people have good communication but clever are better than the cleverer people
cant have a good communication.
2. Why is the reason sections of a bad news message so important? Explain
Answer:
Reasons: present valid reasons for the refusal, avoiding words that create a negative
tone. In the reason section the writer explain the causes of the bad news. From that
definition I think the reason section of a bad news message so important, because the
reason can make the reader of the bad news understand why the writer have to choose
the negative decision and why the writer have to deliver that bad news such as the
writer deny a request, refuse a claim and other negative news. The reason also make
the reader less to anger, to blame, to feel stress and to swear.

3. Is infromation obtained on the web as reliable information from jurnal,

newspaper, and magazines?
Answer:
Not always. The information in the web is reliable or not depent on the website that
we see. Jurnal, newspaper and magazine are reliable because they be made my
proffesional people. The proffesional people look for the information accurately. But
in the website there are so many writer write in the website. Many professional and
unproffesional people write in the website. If we look for the information from the
unproffesional website ( website abal-abal) or we dont know who write the website
of course the information can not be reliable but, if we look for the information from
the proffesional website or proffesional writer such as bbc.co.uk, kompas.com, and
etc of course the information will be reliable.
4. Commentators are constantly predicting that new communication media will
destroy old ones. Do you think e-mail and instant messaging will kill of phone
calls? Why or why not?
Answer:
No, i dont think so. There are a time when we have to call the client by the email,
instant message, or telephone. Every device to communicate have different function.
We can use email message when we want to send proposal, portpolio, letter and other
bussiness letter because it is imposible to say the bussiness document in the phone. If
we want to communicate with other peopleand we want to get a history from our
conversation, we can use email message because if we want to use phone of course
we dont have history if we use the phone except we record the phone. On the other
way, if we want to communicate with someone efficient, effective and get quickly
answer of course we have to use phone. If we use email or im the answer of our
question or our talk cant we predic when it is because we dont know they are on or
off, they read or not. But if use phone, if they hold our phone of course we will get the
answer. And also, if we want to say something in a urgent or sensitive condition that is
more effective using phone than im or email. Using phone also make we look more
proffesional and formal. So, for that reason I think it is imposible if e-mail and im will
kill phone call.
5. Why it is important to avoid disscussing salary early in an interview? Explain
Answer:
We avoid to disscuss about salary in early interview because salary is the sensitive
question. If we ask salary to the interviewer may be they will consider that we are to

matrealistic. Talking about salary in the early interview also isnt ethical because we
are still in interview phase it means that we accept or not in that company we dont
know. There are time to talk about salary if we has accepted in that company. Talking
about salary also can make the interviewer reduce their valuation to us.
