Deployment of new application and patches for existing application on UAT,

Production and COB servers.
Troubleshooting issues on Application server end by reviewing the JVM and
process logs.
SSL certificates renewal Entrust and VeriSign before the expiry date of existing
certificate.
Configured Web Sphere Application Server on multiple platforms for both
horizontal and vertical scaling for work Load Management.
Creating JDBC drivers and shared library as per the application teams
requirement.
Managing and configuring application servers as per the application requirement.
Entrust SSL certificate renewal on Websphere application server.

Working with plug-in generation and propagation of the same when there is a

processes like new project setup, installation of fixpacks, creation of profiles in
Websphere, weblogic and many middleware products.
Troubleshooting and resolving authorization issues faced by users with CAS tool.
Troubleshooting installation issues faced by users when provisioning via CAS.
Middleware Inventory maintenance in CAS.
Interacting with end users to find the root cause of issue and follow proper
escalation matrix if required.

Day to Day activities:

Checking on Netcool alerts, Url monitoring alerts, disk space alerts, process alerts
work on them and ensure application is up.
Deployments and configuration Change requests/Incidents raised by application
team.
Working on SSL renewals of IIS, iPlanet webservers and Weblogic and Websphere
application servers and make sure they are renewed on time.
Coordinating with application team in scheduling VTM patching for IIS servers and
scheduling Change Request for the same.
Logs retrieval as application team request either from server or from backup
server.
