Description:
Sprint Nextel Corporation is an American telecommunications company. The
project involved complete Maintenance and enhancement of the existing production
site. The whole of the sprint site is divided into different communities based on the
services provided by them. I was involved in maintaining and enhancement for
sprint support site.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Change of port numbers for WebSphere Application Server.


Federated Nodes to the Deployment Manager.
Created Profiles In WebSphere Application Server /7.0.
Configuration of WebSphere Application Server to external database DB2
Experience in upgrading and applying Fix packs and Refresh packs.
Configured WebSphere global security using LDAP registry and custom
registry. Created users with various roles to access the WebSphere admin

console.
Installation, Configuring, Upgrading and troubleshooting the WebSphere
Application Server.
Troubleshooting the Build & Deployment tickets by looking in to the logs
Installed IBM HTTP Server on different nodes and configured them by
generating the plug-in.

Description:
Proctor & Gamble (P&G) is a Fortune 500 American Multinational Corporation
headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio that manufactures wide range of consumer
products. As of 2008 P&G is 8th largest corporation in world by market capitalization
and 14th largest company by profit.
This project consists of redesign of old MrClean Site (P&G Homecare Brands) Site. It
includes CDN implementation for this site in this redesign project and CMS oriented
architecture so switching becomes easier to CMS in future.

Role & Responsibilities:


Federated Nodes to DMGR for distributed environment
Administered WebSphere admin console by setting appropriate roles like
Administrator, Configuration, Monitor, and Operator.
Generated new Plug-in under WDM and moved Plug-in config file to IHS to
establish communication between Web server and WebSphere.
Deployment of applications on different environments and Configured the
application Servers.
Involved in Problem Management Process.
Involved in the deployment of the applications
Performance of Health checks.
Starting and Stopping Servers, applications, clusters, And node agents.
