God - Completely consistent within His own nature.

He MUST remain separate from i

mperfection or flaw due to
His Divine Nature. Only a reconstituting of
that perfect harmony between creator and created will allow for
futhe
r fellowship. In human terms we would / do term that a "payment" or action that
"wipes the slate clean" and
allows for restoration. Therefore, a being
who is created for the purpose of having close fellowship with Him,
a
nd is denied that fellowship is "punished" in the sense that what is vital spiri
tually to that beings existence
is denied to him/her. And, arguably,
because of the secondary nature of the physical existence in relation to
God, because the flesh is mortal and the spirit is not, physical hardships/"p
unishments" are not in any way
approximate to the agony which one wo
uld experience, as a totally incorporeal being whose sole purpose is
t
o have fellowship with his/her creator and enjoy His love and fellowship for his
/her entire existence. The
physical discomforts might even be used
as a "teaching method" if necessary to resestablish a relationship,
should that relationship be lost and might be recoverable because the ultimate
goal is the spiritual
fellowship A poor example might b
e a person, created to breathe air, then deprived of it, and take the
physical / emotional / psychological agony that that deprivation creat
es and translate and magnify that to
the separation for ETERNITY f
rom the one purpose and person to whom you are meant to be close.
A. Decides to create the universe and all in it.
1.Decides to creatre Man in His own image
a. However Man cannot be "perfect" because only God is perfect and God
cannot creatre another "God"
because "God" by definition is
uncreated. A God exists eternally.
b. So God creates Man as "Good" meaning that he is without imperfection
but still capable of free will and
acting in a way that would ab
rogate his "goodness". In so doing he (man) is like God in that he also is
able to exercise moral free agency and, therefore, can be said to
be made in His (God's) image/likeness.
c. God, because of His, love for His "sheep", realizing that in the bes
t possible world He is capable of
creating, given the
other necessary factor (free moral agency) and factoring in man as not being per
fect
and the necessary result of that, Plans for the eventual
outcome in a way that will further evidence His
love by agreei
ng within the Godhead (Trinity) to become the perfect sacrifice/payment/atonemen
t that
will satisfy His perfect nature and still allow for th
at eternal fellowship for which Man was initially
create
d
Man - As created and described above, exercises that moral free agency with whi
ch he is endowed in a way that
causes separation from fellowship with
his creator.
The purpose of the Law Galatians 3:24-25
Man has, due to his fallen nature, never been able to accept responsibility for
sin without God using the results of sin as a "teaching aid"
The Curse on Adam Eve and The Serpent Genesis 3:8-13, Genesis 3:14-24 a punishme
nt or consequence as well as an object lesson about responsibility
The growing sifulness of the world.Genesis 6:1-7, Genesis 6:8-9 The worlds destr
uction is both a penalty and a "teaching aid" to the righteous
Ham's sexual sin against his father Noah Genesis 9:22-24, Gods punishment and ob
ject lesson Gen. 9:25-27.
Israels sin of idolatry after deliverance from Egypt Genesis 32, (21-24)
Davids an Uzzah's disobedience in transporting the Ark of the Covenant 1Chronicl
es 13:9. David in this capter continues in not accepting God's righteous require
ment.

From these example it is clear that If one is to gain salvation by the Law one m
ust obey it perfectly in EVERY instance.

This speaks of the Mosaic Law as Paul is writing to the Jews of Galatia.
However God has instituted many covenants, with laws attached for the purpose of
pointing to the one who would pay for mans transgressions and "buy back" the or
iginal spiritual fellowship that was lost.
The Curse Genesis 3:8-24 Yet God covenants/Promises a redeemer (Gen.3:15)
Yet salvation has always been by faith in the coming redeemer.
God promises a redeemer to defeat the evil onee (Satan)
Genesis 3:15 The promise
Genesis 25: 24-26 The faith
The Adamic Covenant.
