Newark Speaks Municipal Election Debate Series

Online Political Forum NewarkSpeaks.com, in partnership with SEIU Local 617 present a series of
debates for Newark’s 2010 Municipal Elections.

Newark, NJ, 4/16/2010 - Newark Speaks, in partnership with SEIU Local 617 is pleased to announce the
first of what hopes to be an ongoing debate series in the city of Newark, for the people of Newark. The
Newark Speaks Municipal Election Debate Series, will be an open forum for true dialogue between
municipal candidates and Newark’s citizens, and will follow the core tenets of the NewarkSpeaks.com
political online forum.

Newark Speaks believes that open and free discussions are healthy and necessary for Newark’s progress
as a community. Forum Owner/ Manager, Mr. Musa Muhammad states, “we actively urge our citizens to
engage our representatives, demonstrating that sharing your mind and sharing your views lets the world
know how you feel and allows others to agree, disagree, support you, debate you, join you, or educate you
regarding those views. Newark’s Renaissance needs such discourse for healthy and progressive growth.”
