Routing
Use
This activity creates the Routing. Routing is a formally structured list of work steps and
other essential information, required to produce assembly/finished goods.

Procedure
1. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

2. On the Create Routing: Initial Screen, enter the following data:

7. Select a component, Press New Assignment and assign the components to the required
operation. System assigns all the components to first operation, if no assignment is carried
out

7. Assign materials to
operations, if necessary
8. Once the Component is assigned to the operation tick the Backflush option as shown in the
screen. When this tick is activated the system will allow to carryout auto goods issue & goods
receipt during confirmation of order.

9. Select Save. System will display message routing created.

system generates a
Routing Group No.

10. A material can have several alternate outings. On Create Routing: Overview, header material
for which routing is created is displayed. You can maintain several routings for the header
material here. The new Routing tab is to be selected for adding new routing. Then follow the
same procedure
