SLOUGH FOODBANK thank you for your donation which they received on 8th February. It
weighed 21.1 kgs and is equivalent to about 24 individual meals. They thank all our members
and friends who gave gifts to make up this donation. Your generosity and continued support is
greatly appreciated. Currently they are receiving rather more food in the donations, than they
need to supply all the people coming to them for help. So their stocks are rapidly increasing and
they want to avoid any possibility of waste, by food going out of use by date. They ask all
donors to limit their choice of products to those listed below, for the time being, and possibly
make up each donation by adding a small financial contribution, if able to do so. They will then
be able to purchase specific products as the need arises and also meet the costs of their
underlying support services, essential to the collection, storage and distribution of food.
At
present they would very much welcome receiving: tins of beef in gravy, tins of chicken in cream
sauce, rice as 500g or 1kg packets, sponge puddings , long life milk, pasta sauce, curry sauce
as well as toothpaste and laundry liquids. THANK YOU
