Saat ini, ilmu gizi klinik dibutuhkan oleh para dokter sebagai bagian dari terapi komprehensif
dan integral kepada pasien. Sudah banyak di laporkan bukti-bukti ilmiah bahwa dengan terapi
gizi maka penyembuhan pasien akan makin baik. Di area lainnya, ilmu gizi klinik merupakan
pilar di bidang Preventive Medicine, aesthetic medicine dan healty aging.
Rumah sakit, poli klinik, dan institusi di masyarakat merupakan tempat ditepakannya ilmu gizi klinik. Berbagai
panduan terapi gizi telah dipublikasikan di seluruh dunia. Masalahnnya adalah panduan mana yang akan di
gunakan di Indonesia dan di tempat kerja kita, serta apakah panduan tersebut semua cocok untuk di
terapkan? Perlu ada wahana untuk berbagi dan mendiskusikan hal ini. Pada seminar ini, kami mengajak

ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

kolega untuk berpartisipasi dalam menganalisa berbagai panduan dan berbagai pengalaman tentang apa
saja yang sesuai dan tidak sesuai untuk di implementasikan.

Kita hidup di nusantara yang kaya raya dengan sumber nutrisi yang bervariasi dan berlimpah. Seharusnya,
kita sebagai generasi penerus bangsa ini dapat memanfaaatkan aset ini dengan baik, namun kenyataannya
tidaklah demikian. Berbagai indicator di bidang kesehatan, ketahanan pangan, pendidikan dan Indeks
Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), sudah di laporkan dan kita masih tertinggal di asia tenggara, bahkan oleh
Negara tetangga yang tidak lebih baik asetnya bila di bandingkan Indonesia. Seberapa jauh kita mengenal
budaya nusantara di bidang gizi? Beberapa daerah telah menerapkan kearifan local yang turun temurun dari
para leluhur dan sustainable. Apakah kita berniat dan mau menerapkan teknologi asli bangsa ini atau
teknologi asing?silahkan dicermati.

Kolega sekalian, marilah bersama membangn nusantara ini demi kualitas hidup yang lebih baik bagi kita
semua dan anak cucu kita.
