Job Description
To effectively manage a reservations team in handling Guest and
Customer inquiries and aim to maximize revenue opportunities
through upselling.

What will I be doing?


As a Reservations Manager, you will manage the propertys
Reservations Department. As the departments leader it is
expected that you will handle customer inquiries in an effective
and professional manner. Furthermore, you will be tasked with
converting sales opportunities that emerge via Guests and
customer interaction which may contribute to hotel profitability.
Specifically, the Reservations Manager will perform the following
tasks to the highest standards:

Coordinate with various departments particularly Sales and


Marketing Teams to develop a progressive sales plan
Guide your Department to meet and exceed budgeted
department goals

Observe revenue variance at all times, to identify any


concerns or developments and construct an approach to
maximize revenue
Constantly develop accounts, and push the Sales Team to
produce accounts successfully
Seek potential clients to increase revenue
Understand the market through analysis of trends and data
and build a constructive approach to manage trends
Develop a Reservations Team that constantly delivers
excellent customer service
Recruit, select, and train Team Members

Job Requirements
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude,
behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management

Previous experience leading an active and effective


Reservations Team in a competitive market
A passion for leadership and developing the skills of those
who follow you
Outstanding organizational skills with a high level of
accuracy
Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective
long-term relationships
Excellent understanding of yield and diary management
Analytical approach to work
Fluent Spanish and English
Ability to delegate, organize and plan ahead
Ability to coordinate with management and associates
Ability to schedule activities with appropriate staffing
Ability to hire, train and develop ideas
