6. Known issues

6.1

IPR pmm1#21044 Missing section [MboxUtilServ] in

upowerProcessLayer.ini when appropriate
Description
A missing section in the configuration file can be corrected by adding the following section in
upowerProcessLayer.ini with the proper paths when using the Sun ONE Directory
Server:
[MboxUtilServ]
mboxutilpath=/opt/sun/messaging/sbin
sshbin=/usr/bin/ssh

6.2

IPR pmm1#21231 GBG configuration is not backward compatible

Description
This issue was detected during upgrade of an MMS C system from MMSC R2.3-11 to MMSC
R3.0-03. Aft er a conversion of the gbg<xy>.ini file, the A_COS and B_COS attributes are
defined as follows:

A_COS = "0x7047, string-uint32"

B_COS = "0x7067, string-uint32"

This configuration, however, does not work for prepaid requests. For correct behavior of
GBG, the values of the affected configuration attributes must be adjusted as follows:

A_COS = "0x7047"

B_COS = "0x7067"
