The Contractor is advised to visit the site, carefully
examine the items to be demolished, types of
construction etc. and to study the implication of such
demolition and the clearing away of the debris
The Contractor shall allow in its prices the protection
of adjacent buildings during excavation and/or
construction, the protection and maintenance of all
pipes ducts, and cables met in excavation; keeping
all ditches, gullies and channels clear and
unobstructed and making good any damage caused to
public road, kerbs and drains and paying all cost and
and charges incurred
Note: Salvaged materials shall be set aside and shall only
be disposed of upon receipt of instructions from the
Architect. In no case shall the credit value of salvaged
materials be deducted from the rates of items in demolitions
to show a net figure
The works in this section consists of demolition and
alteration of existing four storey concrete framed structure
with sandcrete blockwork enclosure and partition. The
building measure 18.90 x 8.25 x 16.0m high
