Goals
Learning Outcomes

The goal of this course is to introduce students to the basics of and engineering drawing and skills in
sketching, Computer Aided Drawing and Design (AutoCAD) and modeling as well as visual
presentation skills.
:After successfully completing this course, the students will be able to
1. Draw Plan, Elevation and Section views of simple engineering projects.
2. Read and determine drawing scales.
3. Draw orthographic views.
4. Draw a legible freehand isometric sketch of an engineering item.
5. Use dimensioning
6. Implement Working Drawing
7. Use of computer graphics tools to produce 2D and 3D detailed drawings
